The greatest strength of this product seems to be its hydration. It absorbs exceptionally well and gives a lovely glow to the skin. The scent is a bit disappointing, and it's frustrating that the dropper doesn't dispense much product no matter how hard you press it. This is a product I've used for a long time. While there might be mixed opinions about its texture and how it absorbs, personally, I love how the slightly sticky consistency leaves my skin feeling delightfully moist and smooth after application. It absorbs well into the skin, better than I expected. I've used this product with affection for a long time and it has helped me a lot. I heard there's a renewed version out now, so I'm planning to try that too! I wouldn't recommend this if you prefer light, quick-absorbing formulas. For ease of use, apply the product directly to your face with the dropper instead of using your hands. I tilt my head back slightly and use the dropper to apply it directly to my forehead and cheeks, then spread it out. Given the nature of the dropper and the product, if any drips onto the container, I immediately clean it off with the towel I used after washing my face.

It's packed with nutrients yet doesn't feel oily, so it won't clog your pores. While its runny texture doesn't provide intense hydration, it does offer some moisturizing benefits. I didn't need to apply multiple layers, but even when I did, it didn't pill or slide off. This serum was a godsend when my skin was exhausted from lack of nutrition and hydration, which was causing blemishes to appear! While it may not specifically target skin barrier improvement or soothing, I could feel it nourishing my skin without causing any burden. The dropper is a bit inconvenient to use. It's frustrating that there's quite a bit left in the bottle when you're almost done with it. Other than that, I didn't notice any major drawbacks, but people with resilient skin might not find it as beneficial (they might even find it a bit heavy). The slightly sticky texture might not appeal to those looking for a lightweight feel. I've been using this product exclusively for years now. With my sensitive and extremely dry skin, this product doesn't cause any blemishes and provides long-lasting hydration (with a rich feel). It absorbs really well and sinks into the skin beautifully. Top-notch stuff! It can feel a bit sticky, which might be a tad uncomfortable for some.

I'm using other brightening products too, so it's not solely this one's achievement. Still, since it moisturizes well, it'll definitely help prevent wrinkles. The product packaging is my biggest complaint. It's like trying to sip a smoothie through a coffee stirrer at a cafe. Sigh. And for a pharmaceutical company, why are the ingredients so... I thought I was experiencing purging, so I endured it and even applied blemish ointment to calm my skin. Only now did I check Hwahae and was shocked by the ingredient list. 1. Texture The formula has a high viscosity. It's sticky, similar to snail mucin. While it doesn't absorb exceptionally well, it feels refreshing after absorption. 2. Volume At 10ml, it's a small size, but considering hygiene, this might actually be better. It's also great for using in combination with other essences. 3. Effects This essence is perfect for winter use. As someone with dry skin, I find that using this essence with a cream keeps my skin from feeling dry at all. For those with oily skin, this might be enough on its own. For me personally, there are some ingredients that don't suit long-term use, so it's good for occasional use. I'll likely use it every winter. It's a bit rich for summer use, but it's great as a winter essence. Other than that, I don't have any particular complaints.
