As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I've been mixing this with my moisturizer from fall to spring when my skin gets dry. While many creams claiming good hydration often have glycerin as the second ingredient, this product has it as the first, so the moisturizing effect is truly remarkable. I've been using it for years during the dry seasons without any blemishes. In winter, I also use it as a hand cream. It's a bit sticky right after application, but it absorbs surprisingly quickly. Still, it's stickier than regular hand creams, so I keep it on my bedside table and apply it before sleep. It's also useful as a lip balm. I love that it's easily available on Coupang or Naver Store at an affordable price. I'm leaving this review hoping the supply won't be discontinued! There's nothing I dislike about it. While its rich texture means it doesn't spread as easily, it's not a problem since I'm not applying it all over my face or body. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 3, 2022
I'm writing this review because there are so few, which is a shame. I've been using this for almost 20 years thanks to my mother, and I wonder if everyone's been using it through word-of-mouth, hence the lack of reviews. (1) It's only sticky at first but absorbs quickly. It leaves no oily residue and has a great absorption feel. The initial stickiness isn't oily, but more like a light glue if I had to compare. (2) The hydration effect is truly outstanding. My grandmother with extremely dry skin absolutely loved this product. She always made sure to keep extra on hand. (3) It doesn't cause blemishes. My mother, who has super sensitive skin, can apply it all over her face, hands, feet, and body without any irritation. Same goes for my sibling with atopic dermatitis. My father and I have oily, acne-prone skin, and we both use it without any issues. That's why we keep various sizes at home, and the whole family uses it for home, travel, and work. (3) Ease of purchase. It used to be hard to buy, but now it's so much more convenient, which is great. (4) Even past the expiration or recommended use date, apart from needing to mix in more water due to it becoming too thick and dry, it doesn't cause any blemishes. It's almost as if the expiration date is meaningless for this product. Of course, I experienced this when I bulk-bought too much when it was hard to purchase. Now that it's easier to buy, it's best to use it within the expiration date. (1) If you apply it generously on your hands or feet before bed, they'll be soft the next day, but be careful when you first step into the shower - it can be slippery! This happens if you apply too much... But using more does give better results, so I always apply generously. (2) Like with other cosmetics, if you use your phone after applying and before going to bed, it might leave some Glyceride marks on your phone. In this case, you can apply it right before you sleep. (3) The packaging!!!!!! I nearly fainted when I saw the box after ordering ten 100ml tubes recently. The tube itself has always been fine, but being an imported product, the Korean sticker was really subpar (I think it used to be called 'Silk Cream', which felt like a hastily chosen name for the price). Now it seems the sticker on the tube has changed to 'Glyceride Glycerin Cream', but the packaging box is overwhelming. The design is very intuitive, but... It's a design that sacrifices elegance for pure practicality and communication. It's an excellent illustration that shows what the cream is for, regardless of what country you're from! Still, because the product works so well, I usually buy it, remove the packaging, rewrap it, and use it as a gift. It's thick, so it's good to apply when your skin is slightly damp. Alternatively, you can mix it with a bit of water before applying for easier application. It also works well if you apply it to your lips before bed. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 6, 2020
I've been using this holy grail cream for over a decade. It works wonders for extremely dry skin. You can apply it anywhere - heels, hands, face - it's perfect for any dry areas. Grysoderm is the answer! At this price point, there's nothing better. No need for expensive alternatives. With so many advantages, it's hard to find any drawbacks. This is truly the ultimate cream. It absolutely must never be discontinued! Great for application on all dry areas. When dryness strikes, reach for Grysoderm! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 21, 2020
I've never seen anything as hydrating as this! I work with water daily, and even when my fingerprints are nearly gone from all the exposure, if I apply this before bed, my skin feels soft and supple the next day. It's the ultimate for moisturizing in winter. I can't believe there aren't more reviews! Glysolid is truly a hidden gem for those in the know! It doesn't absorb immediately upon application, leaving a slightly sticky feeling, but this minor drawback is hardly worth mentioning. When your face is super dry, you can use it as a hand cream and then gently pat the excess onto your face - the hydration is unbeatable! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 2, 2019
This cream is truly amazing - I'm surprised there aren't more reviews! The older ladies call it the 'Silk Cream' (though I'm not quite sure why...). At first, I was skeptical, but oh my goodness! I've been using it for over 10 years now. It's become a staple in my routine - I make sure to stock up before I run out! I use it as a foot and hand cream. If my heels feel a bit dry, I just apply this and it works wonders. You know that parched feeling you get when wearing sandals barefoot? No need for exfoliation - just slather this on! Even if your skin is extremely rough, it'll be baby-soft in 2-3 days of use. In winter, when my hands get chapped, I apply it before bed and wake up to silky smooth skin. I tend to get particularly dry near my tailbone (sometimes showering daily can be harsh on the skin). For that, I use a similar but slightly different body cream from the same company. When it comes to intense dryness, Grisolid is definitely the best! The texture is extremely thick. It's so dense that it's a bit of a struggle to squeeze out of the tube. You really have to give it a good squeeze for it to come out in little chunks. Because of this consistency, it doesn't absorb immediately - it takes quite a while. That's why it's best to apply it before bed. It's so slippery that you can barely walk on the floor properly. You might even leave cream footprints! Despite this, the results are top-notch. For extremely dry areas, I apply a generous amount, wrap it in plastic wrap for a bit, then gently pat it in for better absorption.
