My lips tend to have a lot of visible dead skin cells, but this doesn't dry them out and offers such a diverse range of colors. I love how the color changes depending on whether I apply one layer or build it up! I've tried all sorts of lipsticks, but I've finally found my holy grail with this one! The price is... wicked, but I'll still repurchase it! There's a slight rose scent, which flower fragrance lovers will adore, but those with super sensitive skin might perceive it as a typical cosmetic scent. - do*****Normal SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 26, 2022
I decided to try this lipstick marketed for gals with warm undertones. The application and scent are quite unique! Fragrance: As expected from a renowned perfume house, it's like applying a solid perfume. Those who dislike cosmetic scents might find it polarizing, but I'm a fan. Application: My lips are dry and prone to dead skin cells, so I rely on lip balm year-round. The moisturizing, silky-smooth application of this lipstick is truly top-notch. It doesn't feel greasy like a lip gloss, but glides on like silk or satin. Color: On my lips, it appears as a clear red shade, reminiscent of Anna Sui's translucent red lipstick from back in the day. The color payoff varies daily depending on lip condition, but its moisturizing and versatile hue makes it great for everyday use. It works well on a bare face with just sunscreen or with a full face of makeup. Surprisingly natural and not overpowering. Design: The packaging is sleek and luxurious. The engraved logo on the cap is stylish, and I appreciate the clean, understated design of the product itself. The price is the main drawback... it's wickedly expensive! While the lipstick isn't large, it feels somewhat heavy. The amount of product seems a bit limited too. Although it's marketed as a warm-toned lipstick, it doesn't give that 'fluorescent light' effect. It's not quite a holy grail product, just decent overall. I managed to snag this at a bargain price on a secondhand marketplace. That's my go-to for pricey cosmetics! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 3, 2020
I bought this out of curiosity when I heard Hermès had released lipsticks. Since orange is their signature color, there were many orange-toned shades! As a warm-toned person, I usually go for orange hues. First off, Rouge Amazone 75 is a vibrant red lipstick with a hint of coral. The price is $88... quite steep! It comes in an elegant Hermès box with a small pouch. The lipstick has the 'Hermès' logo on the front, and the cap is magnetic, giving it a nice weight. It glides on the lips incredibly smoothly, without settling into fine lines. The color lasts remarkably long, which means it has great staying power. It didn't emphasize dry patches much either. Being a satin finish, I didn't need to apply lip balm separately! I'm extremely satisfied! As expected from Hermès! I heard refills are coming out - I hope they're released soon! - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedMar 16, 2020
It's priced at $88 for 3.5g. The container has a magnetic closure and the color is a vibrant orange-red with strong red undertones. Highly recommended for warm skin tones. The color payoff is excellent. It doesn't smudge much, and even after about 10 minutes of wear, it won't budge unless you deliberately rub it. Even when wearing a mask, it doesn't transfer much. The staying power is impressive, and it leaves a nice stain on the lips. The price point is quite steep. For a satin finish, it's not as moisturizing as expected. While it does have some glow, it doesn't feel very hydrating. Like many lipsticks, after some time, the color fades from the center of the lips, leaving a darker outline. Touch-ups will be necessary. It's best to properly moisturize your lips before application. If you're looking for a more hydrating effect, you might want to layer it with a gloss. For those planning to purchase at full price, I highly recommend buying from the Hermès Maison boutique in Cheongdam or the Dosan store. These locations are less crowded, allowing for more detailed Q&A sessions with the staff.
