I bought this from overseas because it's supposed to be good for brightening, but I haven't used it consistently enough to know if it works. The fragrance feels artificial and the texture is unusual. It's like there's mousse mixed in. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinMay 9, 2018
Seems suitable for oily skin. It gives a slightly drying sensation when applied, with a bit of tingling. There's no moisturizing feeling at all. The scent isn't particularly pleasant either, and I'm not sure about its effectiveness yet. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 1, 2018
I initially received this as a gift and didn't use it right away, but when I finally tried it as the last step in my skincare routine, I was pleasantly surprised. At first, I thought it might be matte, but it actually seemed to hold all the previously applied products in place and smooth everything out nicely. As someone with oily skin, I usually experience irritating eye discomfort and haziness around 3 PM due to oil production, but with this product, I stayed oil-free until evening, which was great. After using up the gifted product, I've been purchasing it through international shipping since it's not readily available on social commerce sites these days. It really helps prevent my makeup from sliding off! I think it works wonderfully as a finishing touch to your skincare routine, as long as you've properly hydrated in the previous steps. The opening is quite large, reminiscent of squeezing out toothpaste. You need to be careful with the amount and spread it evenly. Also, it's worth noting that the ingredients aren't particularly on the safe side. It's best to think of this product as more for makeup preparation rather than for its skincare benefits alone. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 4, 2018
My sister bought this for me when she went to India. After using it for a long time, my skin, which used to look like an Indian's, became much fairer, making me look more Korean! It's difficult to apply. You need to spread a tiny amount very thinly. If you apply it before your skincare products have fully absorbed, it pills. It's as thick and hard to blend as Dermacol's matte foundation. I bought it in a tube similar to Madecassol, not plastic, so it's quite old. You can't purchase it in Korea. It's better than Applin though. Apply it right after thoroughly completing your toner step. Skip the moisturizer. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 8, 2017
It absorbs well and has a pleasant fragrance reminiscent of baby powder. I loved how it brightened the areas where I applied it. Unfortunately, it didn't eliminate my small blemishes, and I noticed new ones appearing occasionally. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 21, 2017
I loved the pleasant scent and how it left my skin feeling slightly powdery and fresh. Until now, my skin never reacted badly to any cosmetics I used. But with this one, my skin started to break out after just two days of use. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 1, 2017
The gentle, floral scent is delightful. When applied to the face, it feels moisturizing at first and leaves a soft, powdery finish. I was under the impression this was a whitening product. However, it doesn't seem to have any brightening effects. - go*****Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresApr 11, 2017
I have extremely oily skin overall. When I've used two or three different brightening moisturizers before, they left my skin feeling dry at the finish. This one, while not exactly moisturizing, gives a soft, matte finish. It even helps control some of my excess oil and gives more of a radiant look rather than a stark white appearance. When applied, it acts like a primer, and above all, it absorbs beautifully. The scent is quite strong, but to me it's like a floral soap, so I don't mind it much. Personally, I apply brightening moisturizer to both my face and neck, so the 25g size feels a bit small. I find myself unconsciously trying to use it sparingly because of its size. When doing a bare-faced look, pat this on after your sunscreen for a slight blurring effect. - Hwahae UserOily SkinMar 22, 2017
This is the most gentle and easily absorbed brightening moisturizer I've ever used. I doubt you'll find another cream with such great absorption. It contains pearl particles, giving a subtle glow effect. According to the instructions, it seems you can even apply it at night before bed! The musk scent is overwhelmingly strong, like a perfume, so I wouldn't recommend applying it to your face. I regretted using it as the fragrance gave me a headache all day. As for the brightening effect, it's not immediate. It's more of a gradual 'Oh, my skin seems brighter?' kind of result over time. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 4, 2017
I love how it naturally brightens my complexion by about half a shade, tightens my pores, and adheres to my skin like a magnet for a perfect fit. While it's supposed to help with hydration and skin soothing, it actually feels matte and dry, making me need to apply an extra layer of moisturizer. It's also challenging to apply evenly, as it leaves white residue on areas with hair. I'm not sure why it feels so tight, but it really doesn't suit my sensitive, dry skin. It might be more suitable for oily skin types. It's best to apply this after thorough skincare preparation. If your skin lacks sufficient hydration, it can feel extremely tight.
