Lightweight feel, almost like wearing nothing. The satisfying texture applies well... Extremely drying. I don't understand the reviews claiming it gives a dewy complexion. My friend and I both tried it, and we felt like our faces were about to crack. Plus, I developed small bumps. Even after following the instructions and applying a good base skincare routine, it still makes my face feel incredibly tight. - an******Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 27, 2025
This review is based on shade 22 skin tone. My skin tans easily in the sun, so I use shade 23 in summer. Color: I have cool undertones. Usually, shade 23 only comes in neutral colors, which makes choosing difficult. Since this is a "bare-face" cream aiming for a natural look, I like that it doesn't sit on top of the skin. Application: It applies with a moisturizing feel. The smooth texture makes me want to apply it with my fingers! Coverage: For best results, this would be great for those concerned with redness and light freckles. If you already have good skin, this will make it glow even more! Extending application to the neck creates an even more natural look. It has a matte finish but with a subtle glow that looks very natural. The staying power is just okay. It would be suitable for skin without visible pores, blemishes, or dark spots. While it doesn't completely conceal everything, I use it for a foundation-free look. - ek*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 27, 2025
First off, the staying power is pretty decent. This is especially great for those of us who, like me, prefer to skip heavy foundations or BB creams and cushions that tend to cake up in summer, opting instead for just sunscreen. While many sunscreens leave a white cast or have a noticeable brightening effect that screams "I'm wearing sunscreen!", Ailenol is different. It matches my complexion beautifully, and after application, it gives a natural brightening effect that makes my skin look alive and radiant in daylight. There's no obvious line of demarcation on the neck either - it truly gives that effortless "bare skin but better" look. However, the application process could use some improvement. If you don't blend it well, you might experience some pilling. To combat the pilling issue, I've found a technique that works well. I use a spatula to apply a thin layer, then pat it in using a sponge, puff, or my fingers. Gently tapping and blending afterwards helps it absorb more evenly. - db*****Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 27, 2025
Absorbs well Coverage isn't the best Gives skin a smooth appearance Despite being rich, it doesn't transfer to masks as much Not sure if it's because of this, but my skin wasn't in good condition while using it As someone with oily skin, this made my face so greasy it was practically dripping oil... Not recommended for oily skin types It's better to apply it thinly in layers rather than using your hands Recommend using a spatula or mask brush - gu****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedJun 26, 2025
✓ Natural-looking skin like you're bare-faced, but one shade prettier ✓ It doesn't completely hide noticeable flaws, but it gently evens out your complexion, making it perfect for daily use without feeling heavy • Brightening + Soothing + Sun protection all in one • Incomparably more natural than brightening moisturizers or sunscreens • Achieves a better version of your skin that looks like you're not wearing makeup My skin tone usually matches with shade 20-21 products. If you use shade 2.0, it gives a very natural tone. If you want to appear one shade brighter, I recommend shade 1.0! - cn********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 24, 2025
As the trend for natural, "no-makeup makeup" looks continues to rise, it seems more people are searching for foundation-free alternatives! While there's been a surge in brightening moisturizers on the market, many tend to leave a white cast regardless of skin tone, which can be off-putting. Enter the Airenol Cover Cream - the perfect solution for those seeking a natural skin finish with a touch of coverage! This cream glides on as smoothly and moisturizes as well as a sunscreen. It comes in two shades: • 1.0 (A subtle, luminous beige - for lighter skin tones) • 2.0 (A skin-like beige - for medium skin tones) Choose the shade that best matches your complexion. Though lightweight, it effectively conceals redness and minor blemishes. Plus, with SPF 50+ PA++++, it provides sun protection while evening out your skin tone! I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a foundation-free sunscreen, a daily brightening moisturizer, or a natural-looking, hydrating skin enhancer. For those who typically use shade 22 like myself, the 2.0 shade provides a subtle brightening effect. If you have a similar skin tone but desire a more radiant look, try mixing shades 1.0 and 2.0 for a customized glow. This product has excellent absorption and provides a nice brightening effect that I really like. A small amount is enough to create a makeup base effect. It works well with other makeup and doesn't cause oiliness or pilling. It allows for a natural-looking complexion, making it perfect to use on its own as a no-makeup cream. Since it does have a slight white cast, those looking for a transparent and natural-looking sunscreen might find it a bit disappointing. - bi*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 14, 2025
It feels like a sunscreen mixed with BB cream. The texture is quite fluid and spreads easily. It provides good hydration and feels lightweight, similar to a foundation, which is nice. The formula is even lighter than a typical BB cream. The shade would suit those who usually wear #23, but it's quite natural, offering just enough coverage to even out the skin tone. If you're looking for a more brightening effect, I'd recommend the yellow-orange shade instead of this one. This color gives a fresh look. I'd recommend this shade for those who want a subtle, natural tone correction. This is based on my experience with #23 skin tone. There wasn't anything particularly disappointing. Perhaps I wished it provided a bit more coverage? It feels almost too natural. The product absorbs well into the skin without feeling sticky or heavy. It's great for those with combination dehydrated skin who want a product that evens out their complexion without clogging pores. The lightweight formula makes it perfect for layering under makeup or wearing alone for a natural, glowing look. It's gentle enough for those with super sensitive skin and doesn't cause irritation or redness. - kh*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 11, 2025
I've been using this for two months now, and I love how it moisturizes and matches my complexion perfectly. With its sun protection feature, it's great for daily use in this weather. It also works well as a base for makeup. I highly recommend this product! Those with dry skin might experience some pilling after a while. As someone with dry skin, I found that mixing it 1:1 with a hydrating cream prevents any pilling. If you apply it after thorough skincare, you can achieve that bare-faced, dewy skin look. It's fantastic! - wn******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedJun 8, 2025
I've been using this sunscreen for 4 months now, having purchased it in March this year. As a pregnant woman, I became more conscious about cosmetic ingredients, and I ultimately chose this sunscreen because of its gentle formulation. Since I rarely wear full makeup these days, I was looking for a sunscreen that could provide light coverage for minor blemishes and even out my complexion. The texture is similar to a typical hydrating sunscreen - it has a smooth, easy-to-apply consistency with a slightly muted beige tint. There's hardly any scent, and what little there is isn't unpleasant or bothersome. What I particularly love about this product is how it leaves my skin after application. It's incredibly hydrating, so when I apply it over my skincare routine, I can achieve a plump, dewy look that lasts all day. If you blend it well following your skin's contours, it provides a natural-looking correction, giving your skin a healthy glow. (However, keep in mind that as it's primarily a sunscreen, it doesn't offer heavy coverage. If you're expecting foundation-like coverage, this might not be the right product for you.) I'd especially recommend this for those with dry or super sensitive skin, and for complexions around shade 22 or darker. It's not too light or too dark - I have a shade 22 complexion and don't like an overly brightening effect, so this works perfectly for a natural look. As this sunscreen aims to correct skin imperfections, it feels like a hybrid between a foundation and a sunscreen. When applying, you might notice some pilling, particularly from the foundation-like components. You'll need to pat it in carefully to ensure even application. Personally, I found the absorption and adherence to be less than ideal. It takes quite a bit of time to apply evenly for tone correction, which can be a bit much for busy mornings. I tend to use this product when I have more time on my hands rather than when I'm in a rush. Also, it's crucial to exfoliate well before using this product. If you dislike the appearance of dead skin cells or product sitting on top of your skin, make sure to thoroughly exfoliate before application. I wouldn't recommend this for those with combination dehydrated skin. Given its moisturizing and hydrating properties, users with oilier skin types might find it too rich.
