I have a peculiar skin type - sensitive with atopic eczema, yet quite oily. Finding the right cleanser has been a challenge. Mild acidic ones don't seem to cleanse thoroughly, while alkaline formulas can irritate my skin with daily use. This cleanser, however, feels like a perfect balance between mildly acidic and alkaline. It leaves my skin feeling clean yet soft, not stripped. The texture has small granules, but they're not uncomfortable at all. They dissolve easily when in contact with water or a shower towel. I haven't experienced any blemishes from using this. However, I've been using the pre-reformulation version, and the scent was really off-putting. It had a strong musky smell rather than the advertised citrus. I haven't tried the new formula yet. I hear it's more refreshing, but I'll wait to finish my current stock before purchasing the new one. This is great for daily use if you have very oily skin. This body wash contains vitamin C, has great hydration, and the subtle lemon scent really lifts my mood. I used to focus only on my facial skin, but now I feel a bit guilty for neglecting my body skin. In summer, when you're sweaty and it's humid, things can get sticky. But this product is light and fresh while still protecting the skin, which is great. It has a lovely fragrance and cleanses quite well. The price is also reasonable. For someone with super sensitive skin like me, it always makes my skin turn red. I'm not sure if it's irritation or an allergic reaction. Highly recommended if you're looking for a body wash with good cleansing effectiveness and don't have sensitive skin.
