I'm not sure if the exfoliation is effective. I bought this gommage-type exfoliator because I heard it was less irritating, but after wetting my face, the rolling process seemed more abrasive than I expected. I couldn't tell how much rolling was enough for proper exfoliation, which left me feeling unsatisfied every time I used it.
