I bought this gommage-type exfoliator because I heard it was less irritating, but after wetting my face, the rolling process seemed more abrasive than I expected. It was just... okay. It didn't give me that deeply refreshing feeling. I bought it on sale and used it casually on my face and arms. The instructions said to roll it after 3 minutes, so I thought it would be something special... but not really...

First off, it's not overly harsh, so you don't have to worry about blemishes popping up. I have really sensitive, blemish-prone skin, but this product actually made my skin smoother. It makes your skin feel silky and bouncy like jelly. After using it, my complexion looks incredibly smooth. It even creates a perfect canvas for makeup application. The only downside is that if you scrub too vigorously, your face might get a bit red. After using this product, I found that hydrating masks or vitamin masks absorb really well into the skin!

I don't wear makeup, so I can't say for sure about the before and after difference... But I'm grateful just for my skin not feeling irritated in this winter weather, so I recommend it! Discontinued. I've been using this gentle product for years without any issues. It's been really good for me. It's such a shame that this product I've been using so well has been discontinued... So disappointing.

While I can't say for sure about dead skin cell removal, I definitely notice my skin becoming softer. There's a noticeable difference in how my skin feels before and after using it. I bought this for exfoliation, but honestly, I'm not sure if it's actually removing dead skin cells. It's great to use before applying makeup.
