- Great for softening dead skin cells on lips - Convenient tip shape for easy application - Provides instant hydration to lips - Tip maintenance can be challenging - Not intended for glossy finish like lip gloss - Limited amount dispensed from the tip - May cause pilling when applied over colored lip products Recommended to use as a coating after applying your regular lip balm. Not suitable for layering with other colored lip products like lip gloss. - pi*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityMar 7, 2022
Healthy glow for your lips I'm using this as a lip gloss alternative. Somehow, lip glosses give me a less healthy vibe, but this lip oil feels less sticky and provides a dewy, luminous effect. Dissolves other lip products This is a bit disappointing when used as a lip gloss. It mixes with and dissolves other lip products, significantly reducing their staying power. Mild moisturizing effect It's more like a protective layer for slightly damp lips? Unfortunately, it doesn't do much for already dry lips. I'm not sure if it's just me, but I feel like lip oils actually draw moisture out from my lips, so I've stopped using them altogether. When I use lip oil alone, my dead skin cells seem to build up two or three times thicker. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 20, 2021
1. The texture is really fantastic. When I was younger, I loved a lip oil that wasn't too sticky and had a slightly runny consistency, but it was sadly discontinued. This green tea lip oil has exactly that texture! I've tried other popular lip oils, but they were often too sticky, sitting on top of dry lips like a layer of oil. This formula, however, absorbs well into the lips. 2. Once, I applied a generous amount before bed and it got on my facial skin. As someone with super sensitive skin, I usually break out when oily products touch my face, so I was really worried. Surprisingly, the area where the product touched remained completely fine without any blemishes. This speaks volumes about the quality of the ingredients. 1. It may not be suitable if you're looking for intense hydration. 2. The oil doesn't dispense easily from the tip, often requiring multiple applications. 3. The applicator is made of fabric. While this doesn't bother me since I only use it before bed without makeup, it might not be the most hygienic option for those who wear lipstick and want to reapply throughout the day. The formula is a bit runny, so if you apply too much, it might drip onto your face. While the gentle ingredients won't cause blemishes, it's a waste of product! Please use an appropriate amount. - mi********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSep 11, 2021
Despite being an oil, it's not sticky and feels refreshing!! I love that it's colorless. It has a woody scent. It smells similar to castor oil, but it's not too bothersome. - mj*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 10, 2021
I've been using the lip balm from the same line, so I decided to buy the oil as well. I thought it would be super sticky since it's an oil, but it was surprisingly moisturizing with almost no stickiness. The texture feels quite light. Personally, I tend to avoid products with brushes for hygiene reasons. The staying power is also disappointing. I think I preferred the lip balm. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 7, 2021
I love that when my lips are flaky or dry, this product provides just the right amount of hydration without feeling too oily, while also taking care of my lips. Although it felt a bit sticky when I tested it on the back of my hand, it actually applies non-sticky and moisturizing on the lips. It's great to use before bed or prior to makeup application. When applying lipstick, I wipe it off first, and it prevents dead skin cells from appearing. Another plus is that it comes with a built-in applicator tip, allowing for controlled application without getting product on your hands. It has a slightly ambiguous scent, so I wouldn't recommend it for those sensitive to smells. Apply before bedtime or before doing your makeup. For a glowy lip look, mix it with your lip products or layer it on top after applying your lip color for a beautiful finish. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedFeb 3, 2021
- Not sticky - Effectively smooths out dead skin cells - Absorbs well - Non-irritating - Hydration doesn't last long - Needs frequent reapplication - Not suitable for use after applying colored lipstick - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 19, 2021
I loved how I could feel the improvement right after applying it, thanks to its oil-based formula. Above all, I felt at ease using it because the ingredients weren't harmful. It's a bit too oily, and for some reason, maybe because it comes in contact with saliva, it creates a white, sticky residue on the inner part of my lips. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 8, 2020
It absorbs beautifully and keeps your lips moisturized for hours. The application is key for lip products, and this one feels incredibly comfortable without any tightness that some other products can cause. If you apply it before bed, it's gone by morning. Also, I'm curious if the ingredients are safe to ingest. Try applying it before you go to sleep! - dm*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedOct 1, 2020
Contains no added pigments. Zero ingredients of concern. The formula applies lightly, resulting in minimal stickiness. The concave tip fits the lip contours well, making application easy. The scent isn't particularly appealing (though this may be a personal preference). While it was a good deal on sale, the regular price seems a bit steep.
