I didn't experience many blemishes after using this. Since I haven't tried many cushion foundations, I can't say which one is better. Nothing to report. - ha*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 8, 2025
The coverage and staying power are both quite good. Above all, I'm satisfied with the high-quality ingredients. Perhaps that's why it seems to cause fewer blemishes. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. I've been using shade 21 thinking I had average skin tone, but after trying 23, I found it suits me better. - se******Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 4, 2025
It's fairly decent for oily skin types. As someone who's tried many cushions, I'd say it's even better than the Hera Black Cushion. Since I have extremely oily skin, inevitably, oil starts to surface after some time. If you have combination dehydrated skin or are looking for a product that works hard to control oil while providing a nice glow, this might be worth trying. Remember to layer with a good hydrating product underneath for best results. For those with super sensitive skin, always patch test first to check for any potential irritation or allergic reactions. - pr********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 24, 2025
The coverage is excellent, effectively concealing redness. I love how it makes my skin look flawless, so I've been using it daily. Shade 23 brightened my tan complexion naturally without looking uneven, which I really appreciate. After application, it absorbs well without feeling sticky, uncomfortable, or drying - just a nice, smooth finish. It spreads thinly and evenly, and doesn't produce excess oil for several hours after application. While I have sensitive, acne-prone skin, my skin condition has improved lately, so it seems to apply even better now. Even with a pimple or two, it didn't cause any blemishes and felt comfortable on my skin. It tends to transfer easily when I touch my hair, blow my nose, or scratch an itch, which unfortunately reveals my natural complexion. This means I have to keep patting it in, which is inconvenient. Also, when applied, it tends to accentuate large pores, so I have to carefully fill them in. After some time, the makeup seems to separate, with the color rising to the surface. It seems that skin oils are also released, causing it to lift. At that point, I need to pat it down again. This happens after about 5 hours, which might actually be considered long-lasting for some. I usually apply this over a brightening moisturizer with SPF, and I think it works well! - w8********Combination SkinAcne SkinDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 31, 2025
While this cushion is definitely not recommended for those with dry skin, as someone with combination skin, I found it quite nice to use during summer. The extremely matte formula provided excellent coverage, eliminating the need for additional powder. The staying power was pretty good too. The shade runs a bit dark, so I'd suggest using a brightening moisturizer underneath. Keep in mind that it may slightly emphasize dead skin cells and can feel a tad drying on the skin. - gr***********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 16, 2024
It has a matte finish and good coverage, making it a solid choice for everyday use. The ingredients seem high-quality too, so I've stocked up on refills! It might be too matte for those with dry skin, who may not find it as suitable. - al*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 11, 2024
I used to wear 21N Vanilla, but since my face got a bit tanned from walking around, I decided to switch. It feels slightly darker, but it seems great for covering blemishes. If you fail to control the amount, it can clump and slide off, so it's important to apply it lightly and blend it out. - ju*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 28, 2024
As someone with sensitive, combination skin that changes every time I blink, I've always struggled with cushion foundations. But this one is a game-changer! It keeps my oily skin in check all day without breaking down. It's been my go-to throughout the summer, and I highly recommend it for oily or combination skin types. The best part? It stays put even when I sweat, which is amazing! I've included a photo of me sweating for reference. Plus, despite my sensitive, acne-prone skin, the coverage is pretty impressive! The only downside is that it can be a bit tricky to apply evenly without a spatula. It's not a major issue, but compared to regular cushions, there's a slightly higher chance of patchiness if you're not careful. Just something to keep in mind when using it. Here's my personal tip: Apply a thin layer using a spatula, then lightly dust some powder on top. This combo will keep your makeup intact all day, even through a waterfall of sweat, with no need for touch-ups! - sw*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 9, 2024
The gentle ingredients are so kind to my super sensitive skin that I don't experience any blemishes. It sets quickly upon application, so if you don't apply your makeup swiftly, it leaves cushion marks. It's too dry and tends to flake. It also clumps easily. You need to establish a solid skincare base before applying makeup. - lo*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 22, 2024
I'm really impressed with my first use! The coverage is great and it works well overall. Unfortunately, it doesn't control oil very well, which is disappointing. I guess that's unavoidable during summer though.
