I was hoping Isoi's acne line would be more effective, but it didn't quite deliver for me. Instead of clearing things up, I ended up with more blemishes and that rough, bumpy texture. It really didn't make a difference for me. This is my holy grail product. Honestly, with just this and tea tree oil, I can calm down pretty much any blemishes. It's a total staple in my routine. I apply a generous layer at night before my moisturizer and let it dry a bit. The texture is kind of runny, but once it dries, it forms a film that makes it tricky to use before makeup. It's not ideal for daytime application. When I apply a thick layer directly on problem spots, the blemishes calm down really quickly. Personally, it didn't do much for deep, under-the-skin breakouts, but it worked wonderfully on red, inflamed blemishes. I honestly can't live without this product! It's incredibly effective at calming blemishes. I apply it before bed and wake up to find them practically gone! I'd recommend this for combination dehydrated skin, oily skin, and mixed skin types. That area feels heavily coated, which gives it a really dry sensation.
