Among Jason shampoos, this one lathers well and gives a thorough cleansing sensation right down to the scalp. The quantity seems reasonably generous for the price. While it appears gentle, I'm unsure about its effectiveness. The shape of the cap makes it difficult to control how much shampoo you want to use. - ga*******Normal SkinDec 26, 2019
For a sulfate-free shampoo, it lathers surprisingly well. It doesn't leave that typical stiff, squeaky-clean feeling when washing. Plus, it rinses out quickly and leaves your hair feeling refreshed. I just realized it contains two ingredients to be cautious about. I wasn't aware of that before. Even though they're listed towards the end of the ingredient list, now that I know, I probably won't repurchase it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedAug 25, 2019
Strong cleansing effectiveness. Moderate scent that's not overpowering. Satisfied with the price. No downsides. Even with an oily scalp, it doesn't feel sticky until nighttime. High satisfaction considering the price. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 7, 2019
I'm using this because my scalp was itchy. I've tried various products, but I'm settling on this one. It doesn't lather well, so I end up using a lot of shampoo. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJun 30, 2019
At first, I was really impressed that it didn't leave my hair greasy and it stayed voluminous until evening. The value for money is excellent, with a large quantity for the price. For men's hair, even a pea-sized amount lathers up well. The cleansing effectiveness wasn't great, possibly due to dead skin cells blocking the scalp or my sensitive skin. After using it for 3 weeks, I experienced an unprecedented burning sensation and slight itching I'd never felt before. I quickly stopped using it and bought a different product. This might be suitable for those without super sensitive skin. On days when you use hair products, make sure to double cleanse! Also, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water before washing your hair! - fu*********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsJun 18, 2019
Refreshing and invigorating: Among the three shampoos I'm currently using, this one provides the most refreshing experience. The cleansing effectiveness is slightly disappointing. It doesn't quite live up to expectations. However, there's still so much left in the bottle.. My seborrheic dermatitis has worsened, so I'm eager to switch to a more suitable shampoo as soon as possible! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 1, 2019
I actually prefer that it doesn't have a strong scent. The cleansing effectiveness is decent, and it helped with my itchy scalp. I used to have a lot of irritation, but this product managed to control the itchiness. The fragrance might not be to everyone's liking. Unfortunately, it didn't completely eliminate dandruff, which is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 29, 2018
I mainly use Avalon and Jason products and I'm settling into a routine. This has a slightly heavier texture than Avalon's Biotin, and it lathers more than Avalon's Tea Tree. When I have severe scalp itching or blemishes, I alternate between Avalon Tea Tree and this product, which works incredibly fast to soothe itching and reduce blemishes. At first, you might feel your hair is a bit stiff compared to regular shampoos, but that sensation disappears with continued use. Just applying a bit of essence to the hair ends is sufficient. As someone who focuses solely on the scalp and never uses conditioner, I find this product more than adequate. There aren't many downsides. You might be surprised by the ingredients, but they seem to be typical fragrances found in foreign products. The rest is actually quite good if you look closely. The fragrance is the only slight disappointment. I have an oily scalp that gets greasy quickly. For important outings where I need to look presentable, I first wash with this product, then follow up with Avalon Scalp Tea Tree (which doesn't lather much but really dries out the oil). This routine helps maintain a non-greasy fringe for a surprisingly long time. - ab*****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 26, 2018
1. Relatively speaking, it's affordable for a functional shampoo. 2. The scent is mild, almost unscented, which is pleasant. 3. It lathers up well. 4. I saw some improvement with my seborrheic dermatitis. However, the effects diminished with continued use. 1. Perhaps due to some harsh ingredients, I experienced irritation after prolonged use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 3, 2018
Usually, even after shampooing, my scalp would itch and when I scratched it, dead skin cells would come off (gross, I know). Even after drying my hair post-shampoo, there was still an odor. But with this shampoo, although it doesn't lather much, I could really get my fingers to my scalp and clean thoroughly. Now when I touch my scalp, it feels softer than before...!!! It's like I've exfoliated my skin. I feel like it's cleaned off all the dead skin cells and sebum from my scalp. After use, it does feel a bit stiff, but that's not a big issue since you can use a treatment or hair oil. Because it cleanses so well, maybe it removes too much oil, so after washing, my hair feels a bit flat and limp..
