It's wonderfully hydrating, and it creates a truly beautiful complexion. I'd recommend this more for dry skin rather than extremely dry skin. For combination-dry skin, the staying power is a bit disappointing. However, it should work well during the winter months. This review highlights the product's hydrating properties and its ability to enhance skin appearance. It's particularly suitable for dry skin types, though perhaps not for the most severely dry skin. The reviewer notes that while it may not last as long on combination-dry skin, it could be a good option for use in colder weather when skin tends to be drier. - s7*****Dehydrated SkinRecommendedJul 20, 2025
I used to be a foundation cushion nomad, but when my makeup artist friend said she only uses this cushion, I decided to give it a try. Even when it fades, it does so beautifully, making touch-ups a breeze. Since using this, I've received more compliments on my skin than ever before in my life. It's lightweight and gives a natural glow, making my skin look genuinely beautiful. I was bombarded with questions about what I'm using, and all my friends ended up buying it too! When I heard that even the Olive Young staff only use this, I trusted it and tried it - it truly lived up to the hype. The coverage is on the natural side, so those with many blemishes might need to use it with a concealer. The puff feels slightly thin, so it might be good to replace it or use a different puff when you refill. - mi*******Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 17, 2025
It worked well for my combination skin, keeping it hydrated. I love how it goes on so smoothly, you can barely tell it's there. The coverage is comparable to other brands I've tried. Without setting powder, it tends to transfer a bit, which is a bit disappointing. - yo********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 17, 2025
It's neither too matte nor too moisturizing. The adherence is quite good, and when applied in a thin layer, it feels just like my own skin! I've been using Light all over my face, but I wanted to brighten the center, so I bought Fair and applied it only to the inner parts. Recently, I keep getting blemishes just in the center of my face. When I used Light, I didn't have any issues. Is this possible? The color is a bright shade derived from red tones. Keep that in mind! - mi***********Normal SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedJul 16, 2025
I've been using this for almost a year now, and I can confidently say its coverage is truly exceptional! I've never been one to touch up my makeup often, but since I started using this cushion, I find myself doing it even less. That's how impressive its staying power is. There's a slight tendency for it to settle into the creases around the nose, and it might be challenging for those with dry skin to use comfortably. This cushion foundation seems to offer excellent coverage and longevity, making it a great choice for those who prefer a low-maintenance makeup routine. However, it may not be the best option for everyone, particularly those with dry skin or concerns about product settling into fine lines. As with any cosmetic product, it's important to consider your skin type and specific needs when deciding if this is the right choice for you. - ld*****RecommendedJul 15, 2025
It seems to have pretty good staying power even in summer, and above all, it adheres really well to the skin! When you apply it, it feels nice and firm! I've repurchased this for the third time and have been using it consistently. To be honest, there's nothing I'm particularly disappointed about. - si******Dry SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 13, 2025
Choosing the right shade was the trickiest part when I first picked out a cushion foundation. Since I have fair skin (I've always used shade 21), I was worried about looking too yellow or dull. After some deliberation, I went for the Fair shade, and I'm so glad I did! The adherence is fantastic! It truly feels like it's melding with your skin. Once applied, there's no patchiness or caking - it goes on smoothly and evenly. While it applies sheer and translucent, it surprisingly offers decent coverage. It evens out your complexion and even covers mild redness effortlessly. The glow it imparts is natural, clear, and not over-the-top - just a perfect dewy finish! To sum it up, this is perfect for those who love a bright, radiant complexion. The Fair shade is absolutely ideal for light skin tones (17-21) and anyone seeking a clear, vibrant look. If you're into that translucent, beautiful skin appearance, you'll be thrilled with this cushion. It's a game-changer! It's not a full-coverage type product. If you have a lot of blemishes, you'll need to use a concealer as well. For those with oily skin, you might notice some shine coming through in the afternoon, so setting with powder is a must. The shade might be too light for those with darker skin tones (not recommended for shade 23 and above) and could potentially look ashy. For best results, start with a thin layer of moisturizer and primer before application. Use a small amount on your puff and build up in thin layers by gently patting. This method really helps the product meld beautifully with your skin. Pay extra attention to areas like under the eyes and around the nose - pat carefully to avoid any patchiness! Finish with a setting spray or powder to boost longevity. - ty*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 10, 2025
For reference, I have sensitive combination skin (with an incredibly oily T-zone) and strawberry nose. 1. The bright color gives a radiant look. I used to use HL, but this one is definitely brighter, making me look more radiant! 2. The built-in puff is great. I always used different puffs instead of the built-in ones, but this cushion's puff is actually quite good! It works well even without wetting it. 3. While it doesn't cover everything, it provides a smooth, moisturized coverage. It does make the skin look a bit made-up, which I liked, but it might not be everyone's cup of tea. Since I bought a light shade, I didn't experience much darkening. 1. It breaks down a bit messily. Maybe because it's summer, but the way it breaks down isn't very pretty. 2. It accentuates dead skin cells. You'll need to exfoliate thoroughly before using this. It tends to highlight flaky skin (especially around the nose area). I think it might be too dry for those with dry skin. - ji***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 10, 2025
It's a solid choice for everyday use. After trying various cushions, I always come back to this one. It goes on a bit thick. I wish the color was a tad lighter. Other than that, everything else is great. This review suggests that the product is a reliable cushion foundation for daily use. The reviewer appreciates its overall performance, despite having tried other options. However, they note that the application can be slightly heavy and express a preference for a lighter shade. Despite these minor issues, the reviewer still finds the product satisfactory. - ma*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 7, 2025
On hectic mornings, there's no time for fussy routines like smoothing with cotton pads, layering skincare, or using brushes. That's why I prefer cushions that make my skin look great even when hastily applied. This cushion fits the bill perfectly. While the actual amount might not be small, something about its glow-enhancing formula makes me unconsciously overuse it a bit.
