<Review after 5 months of use> I've been using this from winter through summer, and I love it. The oil isn't too heavy, and it's incredibly smooth for rolling. You might think the gentle ingredients would make it less effective at cleansing, but I find it works great. Keep in mind, I always double cleanse with a foam cleanser afterward (I wear makeup daily). It seems perfect for year-round use. For reference, I used to switch between cleansing gels, milks, and oils depending on the season. But now, I plan to stick with this one all year long. I honestly can't think of any downsides. That's why I've already repurchased it and plan to use it consistently. If you want to boost its cleansing effectiveness, here's my method: Apply the oil all over your face, then use your palms to roll and gently heat it up. This helps melt away impurities. Next, dampen your face with lukewarm water and roll again to further dissolve makeup and dirt. Follow up with your foam cleanser, giving another light massage. Rinse with lukewarm water, do one more gentle roll, and finish by rinsing under running water. - yo**********Normal SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 7, 2025
I'm writing this review after using about two-thirds of the product. The user experience is fantastic! When it touches your skin, it transforms into an oily texture that gently rolls without causing any irritation. It effectively removes sebum, leaving your skin clean. It's especially great for getting rid of whiteheads under the chin. I'm 100% sure I'll repurchase this when I run out. There's nothing particularly disappointing about this product. The scent is pleasant, and while I've only used regular oils before, I find this jelly oil formula quite nice. - gl********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedFeb 8, 2025
The texture is soft and creamy white. It removes makeup gently without irritating the skin and cleanses thoroughly! I used this to remove all my eye makeup, but it stings terribly if it gets in your eyes. It's quite challenging to open your eyes to find the cleansing foam after applying this cleansing gel. - jh*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessJan 5, 2025
Works well for skin types between dry and combination dehydrated. Doesn't leave skin feeling dry after cleansing. Seems suitable as a first-step cleanser. Cleansing effectiveness is moderate compared to Etude's famous mascara fixer. Despite claims of no eye irritation, I was shocked by how severely it stung my eyes. Be extremely careful - if you accidentally open your eyes while cleansing, you'll experience intense burning. It's truly only suitable for first-step cleansing and doesn't effectively remove foundation or mascara. If you're wearing sunscreen and makeup, a second cleanse is absolutely necessary. Also, it runs out quickly. If it had higher cleansing power with less product, I might have reached for it more often. - eu*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 11, 2024
I love how it has a jelly-like consistency. It doesn't drip through your fingers when you apply it, which is great. It's labeled as fragrance-free, but that's not entirely accurate. There is a scent, though it's not particularly pleasant. - ka***********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 15, 2024
It removes makeup well and is gentle enough for sensitive skin. After using it, my skin feels smooth and silky. Unlike other cleansing oils, it doesn't seem to remove as much sebum, which is a bit disappointing. - al*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 9, 2024
The biggest advantage is that it doesn't run and doesn't sting my eyes. It's gentle and caused very little irritation to my skin. I also like that the scent isn't overwhelming. I've used up the entire bottle and plan to repurchase. The cleansing effectiveness is a bit lacking. Even after double cleansing, I still need to use an exfoliating toner. The container is hard and square, making it difficult to get the last bits out. The pump doesn't open, so I can't even flip it upside down to use the remaining oil. It's such a waste. On the bright side, its low fluidity means it doesn't run when cleansing. - lo********Dry SkinRecommendedNov 1, 2024
I've always found cleansing oils inconvenient as they drip off my palms when pumped from the container. But this jelly-type cleanser stays put on my hands until I apply it to my face, making it so easy to use! It has the same cleansing effectiveness as oil, but without leaving any greasy residue. Plus, it doesn't cause any deep dryness on my skin! The scent was somewhat familiar yet strange, and I personally didn't find it appealing. However, it disappears right after cleansing, so it wasn't off-putting. It's a bit much to use this as your only cleanser. Make sure to follow up with a foam cleanser for a thorough double cleanse! - 1o********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 15, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The product design is sleek and luxurious, which I love. I've tried oil, balm, and water cleansers before, but this was my first time using a gel. I don't often use oil cleansers because they leave a slightly greasy finish even after double cleansing with foam. I usually prefer cleansing water. What I loved most is that the jelly texture doesn't run like regular cleansing oils, making for a neat cleansing experience! As you massage it in, it transforms into an oil, but it wasn't particularly irritating. Compared to other oil products I've used, the finish felt less greasy. Rather than feeling sticky or slippery from residual oil, it just leaves your skin feeling slightly moisturized. However, as I have combination dehydrated skin, I still followed up with a foam cleanser for double cleansing. I'm pleased that this product didn't cause any blemishes. While it seems to remove sunscreen and light cushion foundation well, it struggled a bit with waterproof eyeliner. When I tried to thoroughly remove eye makeup, it stung slightly if it got into my eyes. I'd recommend using a separate lip and eye makeup remover for point makeup. I'd suggest using this on days when you're not wearing heavy makeup. - gy*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessOct 10, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

When I applied it to my made-up face and started rolling, it gradually became more oily and transparent!! I could feel the sebum being removed, and it was great for managing blackheads too! Like with cleansing oils, those of us with combination dehydrated skin need to do a second cleanse after the initial wash! Don't just do a single cleanse as the ad suggests - you'll get blemishes from the residue!!
