First off, it's a lip balm formula with a glossy finish, but the best part is that it's not sticky at all. It's the most comfortable shiny lip product I've used so far, and I find myself reaching for it often. The staying power is pretty good compared to tints, and I'm planning to repurchase. If you have a deep, muted undertone and orange shades don't suit you, it might be a bit much to wear on its own. It has a slight orange tinge, so applying it over a low-saturation base lip color really makes it look beautiful. - kh********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 14, 2024
I bought this because it's the most popular product in Japan, and it definitely lives up to the hype. The staying power is excellent, and it gives a beautiful glow. The color is gorgeous, and the case is elegantly simple. It's easy to close, and even the sound it makes is satisfying. I'm really impressed with the product quality. It gives a subtle, pretty look that makes your skin appear healthier. Application is a breeze. Simply beautiful! There's nothing negative to say. While it's a bit on the pricier side, it's absolutely worth every penny. I love it! The case is fantastic and user-friendly. It's also nice and slim. - ba*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 23, 2023
I've found my perfect pink-beige shade. Since my natural lip color has a bluish tint, I need something with beige to orange undertones for better correction. I used to like shade 14, but I prefer more muted colors, so I'm loving shade 3 even more. Despite its firm texture, it applies smoothly and doesn't clump even with multiple layers. It absorbs well and feels comfortable on the lips, making me reach for it more often as the weather gets drier. When I define my lip line and apply it matte, the glow isn't overwhelming. It removes cleanly without staining, yet adheres well to the lips with no transfer. The subtle color and hydration last quite a while. The black packaging makes it difficult to distinguish between shades. The overall design is also not very appealing. The lacquer formula is decent, but its hydration and longevity are significantly inferior to Lip Monster, especially in terms of wear time. Anna Sui's formula applies smoothly, which is nice, but it can look a bit chalky and tends to clump slightly.
