I usually don't have issues with lip flaking... For a natural look, apply lip balm first, then dab this lipstick once on your upper and lower lip. While I haven't tried this specific shade, I've used another color from the same line. It's soft and quite moisturizing, making it great for winter use! Of course, my lips are like a desert, so I always pair it with a lip balm. By the way, KIKO is a cruelty-free brand that doesn't test on animals (as of August 2018)! This is hands down my holy grail lipstick. The color payoff is incredible... I'm devastated there aren't any stores in Korea. I'm seriously heartbroken! There's honestly nothing to complain about. The color range is truly diverse. The pigmentation is excellent. If you're looking for a matte lipstick, I'd definitely recommend this. It was too matte for my liking. The color payoff is absolutely gorgeous! It matches the lip color perfectly. The scent might be divisive, but I personally love it! It can be drying. It applies as smoothly as a lip balm. Even on extremely dry lips, it doesn't settle into fine lines, provides great hydration, and the color payoff is fantastic! The case is also unique and luxurious-looking. The staying power... unfortunately, it's quite poor. One sip of water and it's gone. While softer formulas tend to have less longevity, I had hoped this might be an exception. Sadly, it's not.

I tried it on and wow, it applies so smoothly! It glides on softly and feels really moisturizing. It's almost like applying lip balm. I'm really impressed! The staying power isn't particularly great, which is a downside for me. While it does stain a bit, for someone like me who doesn't pay attention for hours after applying, it's a minus. Also, I'm not sure if all colors are like this, but personally, I don't prefer products with shimmer, and the one I have contains it. When I wiped my lips with a tissue after applying, there was shimmer left behind... It's not an issue when cleansing, but after the color wears off during the day, it might look a bit messy...??
