My skin tends to be quite dry, but this provides excellent hydration. It's on the thicker side for an emulsion, which makes it especially great for winter use. It's a bit heavy for summer use. I really like that this emulsion has better ingredients than the cream. It seems to be much better than the cream overall. Strangely, the absorption is much worse than the cream. It's very thick and sticky. It really doesn't spread well at all. I wonder what those people who say it has good absorption are looking at? It's unbelievable how thick this is - I've never seen anything like it. After applying, your hands and face feel sticky, but it does absorb over time. With the cream, you're left with a sticky, greasy feeling after a while, but with the emulsion, the stickiness goes away leaving a smooth, slightly oily feel. It's so thick that you might need to mix it with some hydration to spread it. I don't know how anyone uses this on its own. Because it's so thick and hard to spread, I had to use a lot, which caused a lot of little bumps to appear on my skin.

It absorbs well and balances oil and moisture perfectly! As I have oily skin, I was worried the cream might be too heavy, but using it as an emulsion turned out to be amazing! If you apply a bit too much, it can feel a bit rich. The slight shininess is a minor drawback. The cream absorbs well and feels rich on the skin, suggesting good hydration. Unfortunately, my skin reacted badly, and I couldn't finish the entire bottle. I used it with a calendula toner, but it didn't suit my super sensitive, extremely dry skin. The hydration power is excellent, so even a small amount keeps your skin moisturized for a long time. It feels a bit rich, so if you prefer lightweight application, this might not be your favorite.
