The Oat So Simple Water Cream is a hydrating moisturizer made with just 10 simple ingredients. This means it contains only the essential components, allowing you to use the product with less concern or fear about the ingredients. It feels like a moisturizer you can apply with peace of mind. I have some areas on my face that are so sensitive they occasionally develop dermatitis, but even when I apply this cream to those areas, there's no irritation, so I use it with relative confidence. It definitely gives the impression of being gentle on the skin. Somehow, after applying this cream, my skin feels soothed, which I really love! I've tried several soothing creams before and didn't feel much comfort, but I tried this one without expecting much and was surprised by how much I liked it. The soft, creamy texture makes it easy to apply. Of course, it spreads well. The texture provides a balanced sense of hydration and moisture - it's neither too watery and overly hydrating, nor does it feel excessively oily. It seems like they've created a moisturizer texture that's suitable for most skin types. The excellent spreadability makes it easy to apply thinly and absorb well into the skin. I also liked that I didn't have to pat it in myself to help it absorb. Naturally, there's no stickiness, and it finishes with a fresh, light feel, so it doesn't cause any skin stuffiness at all!
The downside is that since it's not a brand that offers big discounts, you'll probably have to buy it at almost full price. It's a moisturizer from a brand where it's difficult to expect significant discounts! Also, Krave Beauty doesn't have standalone stores yet, nor is it available in drugstores, so it's a bit difficult to test and purchase this cream in offline stores. As far as I know, it's only available for purchase online, which I found a bit disappointing. Additionally, those with extremely dry skin might find this cream a bit insufficient. It probably won't be severely lacking, but for such individuals, I think adding a more nourishing cream or oil might help alleviate skin dryness more effectively. For most dry skin types, this moisturizer should be fine! (Of course, individual experiences may vary.)
When applying in the morning or during the day, I recommend layering a small amount twice and letting it absorb well. At night, apply a more generous amount at once and gently press it into your skin using the warmth of your palms to help it absorb!
