It's great for lightweight use and doubles as sun protection. It also offers some defense against environmental stressors like fine dust, which is a nice bonus. The yellow base is quite strong. I bought the Natural Beige shade, but it didn't suit my skin tone at all. It made my complexion look a bit dark and sallow. I had to mix it with a lighter base to make it work. If you have a yellowish undertone, I'd recommend testing it first or opting for a lighter shade. Be careful when selecting your shade. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 23, 2017
It's convenient to quickly apply when running late for school. The product adheres well to the face, so there's no real issue. It's easy to use when you're in a hurry. The disappointing aspects are that even the lightest shade is quite dark, and the coverage seems to be quite low. As for longevity, if you apply it in the morning, it tends to disappear by the afternoon... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 29, 2016
While it doesn't provide full coverage, it does seem to slightly conceal large pores, which is why I continue to use it. If your base skincare is even slightly thick, this product tends to pill and doesn't adhere well to the skin. For better adherence, I found that patting it gently onto the skin while applying works best. - go**********Dry SkinAtopic SkinMar 13, 2016
I always use Lancôme for mascara and Lancôme and Chanel for color cosmetics. This product comes in vibrant and subtle shades - I opted for the subtle one. The texture is lightweight when applied, thicker than liquid foundation but thinner than cream foundation. Unlike BB creams that often have a grayish tint, this doesn't look dull. It's also not as bright as most CC creams or products like Banila Co. However, it's definitely brighter than BB creams, giving a natural look. I applied it with a brush and gently patted with a wedge puff. It looks so natural that I've been getting many compliments on my healthy complexion. You'll need concealer to cover scars or blemishes. If you have clear skin with few imperfections, you'll achieve an even more natural look. For mature, oily, or acne-prone skin with enlarged pores, using a primer or base is essential for longevity. I was surprised to find it contains many potentially harmful ingredients, but as someone with milky-white skin who's often asked if I'm wearing makeup when I only have sunscreen on, I dislike excessive shine, heaviness, or thickness. I recommend this for those seeking the most natural, bare-faced comfortable look. For value, VDL CC cream is brighter and longer-lasting. Especially if you have oily or large pores, use VDL primer with VDL CC cream. After suffering from full-body atopic dermatitis and using lots of ointments, the pores on my cheeks and nose enlarged, so I use both products together. It's expensive. It has a grayish tint. While natural and subtle, it can appear dark. It dries quickly when dispensed, so you need to work fast with your brush. Using the subtle Lancôme CC in shade 2 with the brightest VDL CC as a highlighter creates a more dimensional look with very natural color adjustment. I also use VDL primer, and for coverage, I use either Hanskin BB or Innisfree Mineral Green Base to cover redness from atopic dermatitis. Lancôme primer tends to cause inflammation or blemishes after daily use for two weeks, so I only use a tiny amount on my nose and T-zone as needed. VDL primer seems to cause less blemishes and sebum clumping than Lancôme's, but try samples to see which suits you best. Personally, I prefer Lancôme primer for oil control, while VDL primer seems better at concealing wrinkles and flaky skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 18, 2015
It provides natural skin coverage. The application is smooth, and it leaves your skin feeling soft and matte. First off, the quantity is quite small. You need to apply it when your skin is well-hydrated. Like all cosmetics, this product works best when your skin is in good condition. However, when applied to dry skin, it tends to look patchy, especially around the cheeks. It's best to let your skincare products absorb fully before applying this. People with naturally good skin will likely love this item. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 4, 2015
The texture is quite fluid. It adheres well to the skin without any pilling. This product fills in the fine lines of your skin texture beautifully. It absorbs appropriately depending on your complexion. It imparts a radiant glow that's not overly oily, but just the right amount of luminosity! There's no sticky feeling. It even provides a bit of coverage. The price is indeed the issue. It's so expensive that I'm hesitant to repurchase it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 31, 2015
The color doesn't separate and it applies smoothly with a thin, hydrating layer. On my skin, which tends to make everything look patchy, it only slightly sits on top, but it's much better than BB creams or foundations. While it's better than BB creams or foundations, it might still be challenging for those with very dry skin.
