I received this as a gift and was pleasantly surprised by how vibrant the color payoff was for a gloss formula. As expected from its texture, it didn't leave my lips feeling dry at all. While the photo doesn't do the shade justice, the actual color was prettier than I anticipated! Although I used it since it was a gift, I'm not a fan of gloss formulas in general. It's definitely not something I'd spend my own money on, which is probably why I didn't reach for it much. - sm*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticitySep 30, 2019
It's a pink coral color with a strong coral undertone. The swatch on the back of my hand looked gorgeous, but it barely shows up on the lips. I think it pairs well with matte lipsticks. While it is a bit sticky, it has an oily blend that makes it feel less tacky compared to other lip glosses. The shine doesn't last long and tends to transfer easily. The case opens by pressing on the protruding part, but I couldn't carry it in my bag for fear it might open accidentally. The click-open mechanism is convenient yet inconvenient at the same time. There's a nice window that shows the color, but after just a few months, I noticed product separation through that window. It seems like the color and oil layers are separating? You need to mix it frequently, which makes me feel uneasy every time I use it. - le*******Combination SkinRecommendedDec 20, 2018
I used the pink shade, but oh no! Discontinued? I wanted to repurchase and was about to check the Hwahae app, but I had no idea... now I'm heartbroken. I loved the pop-open button design, the applicator was great, and it didn't smudge everywhere. The scent wasn't overpowering, and the glossy color was beautiful with delicate shimmer. It was truly a product I enjoyed using. Although I usually prefer nude lips, I surprisingly found myself reaching for this bolder color often. The only downside was that the paint on the case edges chipped, making it obvious that I'd used it for a while. - wk******Combination SkinJan 18, 2018
The coral shade seemed to suit my warm-toned complexion really well. I found myself using it often because the hydration lasts a long time, if only it didn't fade so quickly. While it's moisturizing, the sticky feeling was a bit bothersome when removing my makeup. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 18, 2017
Sadly, it's been discontinued... But I'm writing about a different shade here. I bought the orange color and it applies beautifully with a glass-like glow. The applicator tip has a unique shape that makes it easy to apply. The case is also convenient. It's one of my top favorite lip glosses, so why on earth did they discontinue it?! It's a bit sticky? Well, that's to be expected with lip gloss to some degree. It looks pretty layered over lipstick, and it's gorgeous over tint too. Sometimes just a light swipe on its own is beautiful! I wanted to try other shades, but when I looked, I found out it's discontinued. Why... - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 13, 2017
Compared to other lip glosses, this one is less sticky! It's a beautiful product with a lovely shine. Unless you neutralize your natural lip color before applying, the color payoff is barely noticeable. - dl*********Combination SkinFeb 26, 2017
The staying power is impressive. It feels great when applied, and the button-style opening is convenient. It seems to be worth the higher price compared to regular lip glosses. I was certain this was a color cosmetic, but the shade is practically clear. It's more for lip protection than adding color. Color - la********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 19, 2016
I really liked this product. It absorbs well and gives a beautiful, shimmering glow. I'm not sure what I found disappointing... Maybe the price? Or the fact that it's been discontinued? - so*****Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresJul 15, 2016
1. It seems to have a glossy texture. 2. The color payoff is impressive. 1. The staying power is lacking. 2. It has a sticky feeling, which was quite disappointing for someone like me who prefers a moisturizing effect. 3. It tends to emphasize dead skin cells. - ky*****Combination SkinAcne SkinJul 11, 2016
My lips tend to be dry, so I was looking for a lip gloss-type product and bought this when it was on sale. It was worth the price, as the overall experience was quite good. I loved how it gave a subtle color, as if I wasn't wearing anything at all. What I appreciated most was that it barely emphasized any dead skin cells. The staying power wasn't bad either. I've been using it over matte lipstick, dabbing it in the center for a touch of glow, and it works great! I'm not sure if it's because I bought it on sale, but the product keeps leaking from the button area when I open the cap. I remember having to wipe it regularly with a tissue. Also, after about 2 years of use, the smell became strange... I guess this product has reached its end.
