- As a mint chocolate lover, I feel so happy every time I apply it - The lip balm application tip that comes with it in the photo is really great! - It's not overly thick or slippery like oil, but has just the right medium consistency for use all year round - Not sure which ingredient it is, but true to its mint nature, it has a slight cooling sensation that might be hit or miss for some people Personally, I absolutely love it! - po*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 1, 2025
Apply it before bed and wake up to incredibly moisturized lips with no dead skin cells in sight! There wasn't really anything disappointing about it, except that the mint chocolate scent might be a love-it-or-hate-it thing for some people, haha! - nh********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 21, 2025
First off, the effects were truly amazing. When I applied it generously before bed and slept, the next morning dead skin cells would come up. After wiping them away, my lips became incredibly smooth. I loved it! The texture was great too - not too sticky or runny, but a moisturizing cream consistency that felt just right. It's an excellent product for those who struggle with a lot of lip flakiness and whose lips tend to develop dead skin cells even if they skip lip balm for just a moment. I have rather sensitive lips that tend to swell up easily with even the slightest irritation, so I usually need to use gentle products. However, perhaps due to the mint in this one, my lips started burning right after application and were swollen the next day. If you have sensitive lips prone to swelling, I'd recommend trying a berry flavor or another scent instead of mint. You can apply it cleanly without getting it on your hands by using a silicone brush. - xp**Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 22, 2025
I keep repurchasing the lip sleeping mask consistently. One purchase lasts a long time. The rich, creamy texture is perfect for dry lips. The heavy feel can be a bit uncomfortable, but I use it anyway for the sake of moisturized lips. Apply it before bed, and you'll wake up with hydrated lips the next morning. - ha********Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 13, 2024
I've never used up any lip balm products before, but this is the only one I've finished completely. I'm actually very sensitive to dryness and it shows easily on my skin, but when I used this product, I never felt like my lips were dry. After finishing it, I was about to buy it again when I received a lip balm as a birthday gift from a friend. I planned to use that up and then return to Laneige, but honestly, no other product could take care of my dryness like this one. So I came back to it after a while. I really wish everyone would try the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. I think it's going to be my holy grail product. While I was actually very satisfied using this product, if I had to pick something, I suppose it's a bit inconvenient that you have to apply it with your fingers or a silicone brush. However, I found the silicone brush that came with this product so useful that I think it's worth investing in before bedtime. - hy******Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresNov 30, 2024
There's a variety of scents like berry, grapefruit, apple-lime, and mint chocolate. Since it's a sleeping mask, it's best to apply before bed, but we often forget, don't we? In those cases, apply it first thing before your makeup, and when you're about to put on your lip color, just gently rub your lips. You'll find the dead skin cells easily sloughing off! The 20g larger size offers good value for money. Even though I only use this much per application, it seems to run out surprisingly quickly... - sm*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 15, 2024
As a mint chocolate enthusiast, I couldn't pass up a mint-flavored lip mask! It feels like a softer version of Vaseline in texture. It gives a moisturizing, protective sensation for the lips. My lips are usually very dry, so I considered using it daily, but due to its rich consistency, I end up using it more before bed. The nourishing feel combined with the mint chocolate flavor makes it refreshing and unique. If you love mint chocolate, I highly recommend this! Just be careful not to eat it. I'm using it well without many downsides. The feeling of applying Vaseline to your lips might be an acquired taste for some. I wish it could have a built-in applicator. The tiny applicator it comes with is so small that I lost it. Apply generously and sleep well! - zm*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 3, 2024
As a mint enthusiast, I absolutely love applying this before bed. It leaves my lips feeling cool, refreshing, and puts me in such a great mood. The subtle mint scent with a hint of tingling sensation is perfectly my style. The product's effectiveness goes without saying - my lips are incredibly soft the next day with no dead skin cells in sight! Plus, the quantity is so generous that even with daily use for a year, I still haven't reached the bottom of the jar. Compared to tube or stick lip balms, it's slightly less convenient to use. I tend to have dryness and cracking not just on my lips but also around them, especially at the corners. I generously apply this product to those areas too, and I've seen significant improvement in the skin around my lips as well! - dl********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 20, 2024
Apply before bed, and wake up to moisturized lips with fewer fine lines - perfect for applying lipstick! Despite the mint chocolate scent, it's not overpowering. No need for lip oil when you layer this thinly over your lipstick! Being a sleeping mask, it feels a bit stickier compared to regular lip balms! Slather it on generously before bed, and you'll be greeted with baby-soft lips in the morning - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 20, 2024
Being a fan of mint chocolate, I tried this out of curiosity. It's a bit heavy for daily use, but true to its name as a sleeping mask, I apply it generously before bed. When I wake up and gently exfoliate, my skin feels fresh and clear. Even my younger brother, who's not usually one for lip balms, kept trying to steal this product, so I ended up buying him one too! While I'm currently using this, I've had the chance to try the Vaseline lip balm before. I feel like this doesn't quite match up to Vaseline when it comes to removing dead skin cells...?
