Great value for money with big discounts on large sizes. The lightweight formula makes cleansing effortless, and it emulsifies smoothly. It cleanses effectively and easily removes blackheads. I liked the very thin consistency, but it might not be for everyone. The artificial fragrance is not my favorite. - 12******Oily SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 30, 2022
Excellent cleansing power I used to cleanse with micellar water + foam cleanser, but mascara was really hard to remove. So I tried this cleansing oil, and its cleansing effectiveness is remarkable. Using this product alone easily removes eyeliner + mascara + eyeshadow all at once. Great cleansing oil for oily skin I have combination dehydrated skin, and those with oily skin know the struggle... Using the wrong cleansing oil can cause blemishes. However, I never experienced any breakouts while using this product. No eye irritation or burning sensation It's great that it doesn't hurt even if it gets into your eyes. Double cleansing is absolutely necessary If you use this for single cleansing, it leaves a slippery feeling on your face, so it's a bit annoying that you have to follow up with a foam cleanser for double cleansing. Recommended if you're looking for a gentle cleansing oil with good cleansing power. Not recommended if you want to finish your routine with just one cleansing oil without double cleansing. - et******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedDec 5, 2021
Great for combination dehydrated and sensitive skin types. I've been using this product without any blemishes or irritation. The very light oil formula makes it perfect for gently rolling onto the skin, and it has excellent cleansing effectiveness. I bought it during a buy-one-get-one-free promotion and I'm really satisfied with it. It's so incredibly average that there aren't any major drawbacks. The scent isn't noticeable at all, and I bought it during a one-plus-one sale, so... It's a good idea to purchase this during buy-one-get-one or sale events. - po******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 27, 2021
♧Combination dehydrated + super sensitive + blemish-prone + large pores skin♧ ◇ Effectively removes blackheads and whiteheads. ◇ Generally satisfied with the ingredients. ◇ Great value for money with a generous amount. ◇ No deep dryness after using the oil. (Doesn't dry out the skin) -The second photo is before cleansing, the third is after cleansing and wiping with a wet wipe. -The last photo shows results after using the oil and wiping with cotton. In reality, it seems to remove even more than what's visible in the photos. I could feel a lot of sebum coming out in little balls when I wiped, but it doesn't show up clearly in the pictures. Review update♡ ◇ The oil splashes when pumping. Being an oil, it sometimes runs down to the arms. ◇ Arms get tired from constantly massaging to remove blackheads. ◇ Doesn't remove tint and eyeliner well, so a second cleanse is necessary. ◇ The scent is unpleasant. It's a mix of lemon and oil smell. ◇ My skin reacted badly to this... I switched from water-based to oil cleanser for my pores, but it completely irritated my skin. I won't be able to use it anymore. For those who experienced skin irritation like me, it might be better to use this occasionally for dissolving sebum rather than as a daily cleanser. That's what I'm doing now. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 19, 2021
Skin Type: Combination dehydrated/Sensitive/Combination oily/Acne-prone (Early 20s) Routine: (Morning and Evening) Cleansing Oil - Cleansing Foam Scent: A subtle lemon fragrance! It's not a polarizing scent. No harsh or peculiar odors at all. Cleansing Effectiveness: Truly excellent - no need for a second cleanse! With a bit of care while massaging, it even removes waterproof mascara effectively. It generally removes eyeliner well too (perfect cleansing with a follow-up foam cleanser) Skin Irritation: Despite one cautionary ingredient, I didn't notice any issues. It leaves skin feeling light and refreshed, without any dryness. Improvement Effects: For homebodies who find cleansing a chore... Even those with oily, textured skin will notice softer, smoother skin after use. Emulsification: It dissolves well in water! No greasy residue after rinsing (I usually rinse 5-6 times) Value for Money: Generous amount! Great price! I got a fantastic 1+1 deal (same volume) at LOHB's! I'm extremely satisfied... I can cleanse to my heart's content... Pumping: Be careful when pressing it for the first time!! If you press too hard without thinking, it can squirt out suddenly.. If you angle your hand correctly, it will flow smoothly along that angle. Blemish Care: I'm not sure if it notably cares for blemishes It improves texture and softens skin, but that's about it?! It doesn't worsen anything, so I'm just using it. It's just perfect as a cleansing oil! Lip Cleansing: While it removes mascara well, it leaves some residue with intensely pigmented lip products.. (Maybe because I skipped rolling on my lips, fearing it might get in my mouth) Conclusion: Great cleansing power (handles waterproof mascara easily) Excellent value for money Improves skin texture (to that extent) Be careful of sudden spurts when pumping Not great at removing lip products Rating: 5/5 While it might not suit everyone, for those it does, it seems much better than some higher-ranked products on Hwahae.... (Leaving this review out of frustration and disappointment) It's even better if you follow up with a foam cleanser like I do! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 8, 2020
I bought this based on an employee recommendation at L*sh, and although Hwahae shows one potentially harmful ingredient, it's not critical. This product seems to be a hidden gem. It absorbs beautifully and feels like it's really dissolving excess oil. The subtle lemon scent is also quite refreshing! Nothing particularly negative to report yet. Perhaps just that one ingredient flagged as less-than-ideal? - sk******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 25, 2020
I'm satisfied that it doesn't irritate my skin, though the cleansing effectiveness seems a bit mild. Perhaps due to its gentle nature, it doesn't give a strong sense of thoroughly removing makeup. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 26, 2020
I tried this cleansing oil as a sample when I bought the peeling booster, and I liked it so much that I purchased the full-size version. It's great! I used to use DHC and Shu Uemura's purple cleansing oils, but this one is much lighter while still effectively cleansing and removing dead skin cells. I've just finished a bottle, and although I'm planning to switch back to cleansing water for the upcoming summer, I'll definitely use this again during seasonal changes to tackle flaky skin and in winter. This product doesn't seem to be well-promoted or widely known, and it's not easily found in offline stores. The cleansing oil market is dominated by traditional brands, so not many people are seeking out this product. I only discovered it because I had the chance to try a sample. I hope more people get to experience it and recognize its effectiveness. The price is also very reasonable. I really hope it doesn't get discontinued. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 10, 2020
It's currently on a 1+1 sale at Nunc for around 23,000 won! The large volume means you can use it for a long time. I thought I wouldn't need to buy oil for a while... I shouldn't have bought it when it contained shell oil. I needed it urgently, so I purchased and used it anyway. After just two uses in two days, I immediately had an allergic reaction. There was an allergic response near my nose, and blemishes appeared on my forehead and around my eyes. Those who are sensitive to these ingredients should be cautious!
