I trusted the well-known brand La Roche-Posay and made the purchase. There was absolutely no improvement in effectiveness. It felt like the product just sat on top of my skin instead of absorbing. Due to poor absorption, it ended up staying on my skin like clay. Even when applied before bed, I'd wake up to find it stuck to my pillow. After using it, my acne areas experienced increased heat and actually worsened. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 23, 2023
Not really impressed... Does it actually help with blemishes? I left it on for a day but didn't notice any effects. My skin got red, so I quickly washed it off. I bought this because it's popular, but my skin turned red and itchy, so I had to wash it off right away. - zi*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 18, 2023
It definitely helps calm down those stubborn red blemishes that aren't quite whiteheads or inflamed acne yet. If you keep applying it to those hard, red spots, they tend to subside before turning into full-blown inflammatory acne. However, I didn't see any effects on my closed comedones (small bumps). Also, sometimes it leaves a white cast after application. - pi**********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 28, 2023
When applied thickly before bed on emerging blemishes, by morning they're either ready to extract or have vanished without a trace! Though a bit pricey, I've managed to make it last about a year by using it sparingly on affected areas only. There are no drawbacks. At 18,000 won for 6-12 months... if you're serious about tackling blemishes, isn't that a worthwhile investment? It works best when applied not just on the blemishes, but also on the surrounding areas. - qk**********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 31, 2022
When I apply this to specific areas with blemishes, they disappear really quickly. It usually takes about 2-3 days for them to subside, which is great. This line seems to work wonders for acne-prone skin. It's a bit pricey and the amount is small, but considering how well it works, it's worth buying! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2022
I've been using this on my blemishes only at night before bed. The effects aren't outstanding, but they're not non-existent either - it's a bit of an ambiguous feeling. It's disappointing that even the effects it did have seem to be gradually disappearing with continued use. - ke*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 6, 2022
Effaclar A.I. Corrector for pustular acne and Cicaplast B5 Balm for closed comedones - this combo works wonders for me! The Effaclar is especially effective on pustular acne. Apply it frequently, and you can pop the pimple that very evening. Plus, since pustular acne is usually swollen and hard to conceal, applying a thin layer of this before concealer creates a white film that helps the makeup stay put. It's amazing! There are no downsides! I've never experienced anything this fast-acting and effective before. Usually, you have to wait for pustules to ripen, and if you don't extract the pus, they just sit there. But with this, the pus comes out right away and the blemish subsides. It's incredible! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedApr 14, 2022
When applied to small problem areas before bed, it really helps calm the skin by morning Unfortunately, the thick white ointment dries up overnight and flakes off onto my hair - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMar 13, 2022
It's really helpful for calming those pesky little blemishes that pop up along the jawline The texture doesn't absorb as quickly as a toner or gel, so it might cause some pilling if you apply makeup over it - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 13, 2021
When you apply a small amount to blemishes, you can feel them subsiding by the next day I can't think of any particular drawbacks. However, if you apply it too thickly, you might experience some pilling
