I bought this product without much thought, worried about the pH balance of just using an acidic foam cleanser. But let's be honest, the buy-one-get-one-free deal and discount were the real selling points! The foam is creamy and lathers up nicely. It cleanses well, leaving your skin feeling squeaky clean - perfect for use before bed. While it's said to be suitable for sensitive skin, I have skin of steel, so I can't speak from personal experience. However, judging by how it feels, I don't think it would be too harsh on sensitive skin types! It's pretty average. That's why you could easily use other products instead... Considering it's about $30 per bottle, it's not exactly cheap, and it doesn't really stand out compared to other foam cleansers. There's no compelling reason why you absolutely must use this one... If you're curious, give it a try, but if not, you're not missing out on anything special. - sa*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedJun 19, 2025
As someone with dry skin, I feel refreshed without any dryness after using this! Even with my sensitive skin, I've never had concerns about cleansing while using this product. And I was pleasantly surprised by how much I like the fragrance-free formula. I've had no issues removing even sunscreen with just this cleanser alone. I'm using this product comfortably without noticing any particular drawbacks. This cleanser works hard to provide effective cleansing without irritation, making it suitable for those with super sensitive skin. Its gentle formula helps maintain the skin's oil and moisture balance while thoroughly removing makeup and sunscreen. The fragrance-free aspect is especially beneficial for those prone to allergic reactions or skin sensitivities. - fo*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 14, 2025
It's mildly alkaline but still protects the skin barrier. Especially great for men with combination to oily skin. The rich, dense lather effectively cleanses even microscopic dust particles. As someone with sensitive and combination dehydrated skin, I find using only mildly acidic cleansers restrictive, while mildly alkaline ones make my skin feel tight. It's not severe, but it does leave my skin feeling a bit dry. For those who spend a lot of time outdoors, I recommend using this occasionally for maintenance, regardless of skin type. Combination dehydrated skin needs plenty of hydration. Particularly for the eye area and philtrum, use a different mildly acidic or slightly acidic cleanser. If you're in a hurry, just gently cleanse with the foam. - cy********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 2, 2025
Despite being mildly alkaline, it doesn't cause much deep dryness after use. When you're washing your face, you'll notice the foam is truly ultra-fine. Those who say their pores weren't managed after using this probably just didn't cleanse properly. If you use it with cleansers that claim to block pores, it actually enhances the cleansing effectiveness. - u3***Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesRednessRecommendedMay 21, 2025
It completely eliminates excess oil. Highly recommended, especially for those with oily skin! Occasionally, blemishes do appear, but they calm down quickly. - su**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 27, 2025
It has great cleansing effectiveness without being too harsh. Using it with a foam maker allows for an even gentler cleanse. Just make sure to moisturize well afterwards, as I noticed blemishes popping up when I didn't. It helps refine those tiny bumps and leaves my skin looking bright and clean after washing. I'd say using it 2-3 times a week is ideal. Sadly, it seems like they're discontinuing this product. Of all things to discontinue, why this one? I'm so fond of it that I'm planning to stock up on a few more while I still can. - dd****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 25, 2025
As someone with sensitive skin, I love that it cleanses without leaving my face feeling too squeaky clean. It lathers well and leaves my skin feeling refreshed after washing. The price is a bit high, so it's best to buy during sales. However, I haven't found a foam cleanser that suits me better than this one yet. - ye***Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 15, 2025
Even though it's not low pH, it leaves my skin feeling moisturized after cleansing. It feels gentle and non-irritating. Started using on March 7th. Day 1: A couple of blemishes appeared on my left cheek the next day. Day 2: Itchiness in various areas. I stopped keeping track after that, but I consistently developed blemishes after cleansing with this product, so I discontinued use. - ne*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 6, 2025
I have super sensitive skin that's too delicate for double cleansing. I started using this after getting it from my dermatologist. It cleanses thoroughly yet feels gentle on my skin. I'm so happy it doesn't cause any issues! It's quite pricey for the amount you get. However, it's my holy grail product. Just keep in mind that it won't remove mineral sunscreen effectively. - ch********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 3, 2025
I've been using this product because it's known to be gentle, and it's true - I haven't experienced any blemishes from cleansing since I started using this foam cleanser. After washing, my face feels squeaky clean, but surprisingly, it doesn't feel dry. However, those with dry skin have reported that it can be quite drying for them. Being slightly alkaline, it's a great product for oily and combination dehydrated skin types. I'm sticking to this foam cleanser because I'm worried my skin might react badly if I switch to a different one. The dispenser opening is too shallow, which means the area around it gets messy easily, making it difficult to use neatly. Because of this, I always have to wipe the opening after use. Also, it's not exactly budget-friendly. The price is a bit on the higher side, which can be a burden.
