It's a transparent gel with a slight stickiness. When it touches water, it creates a gentle lather. It's truly gentle, allowing for cleansing even on compromised skin without causing irritation. Free from fragrances, alcohol, and parabens, it's suitable for super sensitive skin. After rinsing, your skin feels hydrated, preventing deep dryness. Its makeup cleansing effectiveness is mild (suitable as a first cleanse). For a soothing effect while cleansing, try gently massaging with cold water. - 5w********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 17, 2024
As someone with super sensitive skin that breaks out in irritation the very next day if I use the wrong foam cleanser, this one is incredibly gentle and suits me perfectly! It's the only one I use religiously now! I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for that squeaky-clean feeling! It does seem to struggle a bit with cleansing around the sides of the nose. However, since it's a gentle cleanser for sensitive skin, that's probably unavoidable. - tj*******Combination SkinRecommendedJun 17, 2024
I love how gently it cleanses. Even when it got in my eyes, there was no stinging or discomfort. The runny texture makes it hard to control the amount. You have to hold the bottle upside down to squeeze it out. Purchasing it with loyalty points from the official website - oh*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 25, 2024
It doesn't seem to cause much irritation to the skin. I didn't experience any itching. My eyes felt heavy and uncomfortable. I suspect it might be due to the niacinamide ingredient. - jo********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 14, 2024
It absorbs well into the skin, leaving it feeling hydrated. My makeup used to crack in my dry workplace, but with this, it stays moisturized without cracking. I bought it because a dermatologist recommended it, and I'm impressed! I haven't found any drawbacks yet. The only thing is that it's a bit on the pricey side. For double the effectiveness, try mixing it with hyaluronic acid. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 8, 2023
It's gentle on the skin and perfect for use both morning and evening! Even with my sensitive skin, it doesn't cause any blemishes, so it seems quite mild. Perhaps due to its formulation, it runs out too quickly... The downside is that you need to use it sparingly. - mu****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 19, 2023
This cleansing gel gently cleanses without irritation. I'm using Differin, which makes most cleansers sting, but this product doesn't cause much tingling and works well for me. It's meant to be a hydrating, moisturizing cleanser, and it truly doesn't strip the skin, leaving it feeling hydrated after use. Personally, I don't prioritize foam, but this one has a rich lather that might appeal to those who enjoy that sensation. It seems to be a reliable, gentle cleansing gel. If you prefer gel-type cleansers, you'll likely find this one satisfactory. The product tends to leak from the opening, which can lead to wasteful use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 10, 2022
It's gentle and non-irritating to the skin. I've been using it for several bottles now. I love how it cleanses while keeping my skin hydrated. I personally prefer a softer finish, so if you like that squeaky-clean feeling after cleansing, you might find this a bit disappointing. I use this after applying a cleansing emulsion. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 3, 2022
I loved that it has great cleansing effectiveness while still feeling gentle. I had a bad experience with face masks before that really messed up my skin, but after using this, my skin has improved a lot and is doing much better now. There wasn't really anything I disliked about it. While it's not the cheapest option out there, I don't think it's overpriced for what it offers. On days when I wore heavy makeup or needed something with strong cleansing power, I used this. On makeup-free days, I opted for a cleansing milk instead. - he*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 16, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I actually prefer it to artificial fragrances. - The photo doesn't show it well, but it lathers up nicely. I'll definitely repurchase after I finish this one! - It's tricky to control the amount dispensed, so you might use it up quickly. You get the hang of it eventually, but at first, too much product comes out, which takes some getting used to. It would be better if they made the bottle opening slightly smaller. - If you dislike the slippery feeling typical of low pH cleansers, you might have mixed feelings about this one. - My skin felt smooth right away, so I applied it first, then added a bit of lukewarm water to create a lather on my face. You can also lather it in your hands, but I found this method more convenient. When first massaging the gel on your face, you can do a light massage, and when adding water, you can combine cleansing and massaging. (This method might extend cleansing time and potentially dry out your skin, but since I only use one cleansing product, I follow up with a good hydrating cream!) - It's perfect for gentle cleansing when your skin becomes sensitive during seasonal changes or in winter.
