Hydration - Might feel slightly lacking for some, but adequate for most. Oil - Abundant (oily skin types, run away! Combination skin, proceed with caution) Oil-moisture balance - Good for dry skin types Texture - Pleasantly soft and creamy Blemishes - None Scent - Somewhat strong, may be polarizing When I use this with L'Occitane serum before bed, I wake up with incredibly moisturized skin. Seems to be worth the high price tag! The ingredients and price... The scent that might divide opinions... I'll stick to using samples, unfortunately. - mi*********Dry SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 30, 2024
This cream has become a staple in my skincare routine lately. At first, I thought the scent was unique and might be polarizing, but for me, it's a healing and mood-lifting fragrance. Its rich texture provides excellent hydration, which is why I'm already on my umpteenth repurchase. Since I've never experienced a dramatic skin transformation from skincare products, I can't say this one is significantly better or worse than others. It's a decent product, so I'd recommend it for daily use if you don't mind the scent. Being from L'Occitane's high-end line, it's not exactly budget-friendly, so it's not the best value for money. - ky************Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 14, 2024
Improves skin texture, brightens complexion, fights aging, and leaves a silky finish. It's a highly nourishing cream that doesn't feel sticky. Highly recommended for dry and very dry skin types. It tackles deep dryness and gives a plumping effect, making your skin feel fuller and more hydrated. The price is quite steep. The scent isn't pleasant, reminiscent of traditional herbal products. Consider purchasing the L'Occitane Immortelle line when they offer coupons or during sales events. You can often find significant discounts. - db********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsFeb 26, 2024
I really liked how it feels nourishing without being too rich or heavy - it has a light texture that absorbs well. After use, my skin feels hydrated, smooth, and has a subtle glow to the finish. The scent is really off-putting... It has an extremely unpleasant odor that reminds me of fishy food. I'm also disappointed that it contains PEG and phenoxyethanol. - ha********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 25, 2023
After applying, when you touch your face, the skin feels incredibly smooth, and there's a noticeable radiant glow that's not oily If you apply too much, it tends to pill like dead skin. The scent is also quite strong, so it's best to apply a thin layer with just a small amount - tu****Dry SkinRecommendedApr 16, 2023
The hydration lasts quite a while, and I'm satisfied with the fragrance. It's quite effective for moisturizing. The price is high, and the brightening effect isn't particularly noticeable. There aren't any major drawbacks though. - sa*******Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 21, 2022
I tried out the sample. The product absorbs well without feeling sticky and spreads evenly. It feels so smooth when you apply it with a gentle massage! It has a chrysanthemum-based scent with a slightly sharp note. However, possibly due to its rich nutritional ingredients, there is a slight stickiness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedOct 19, 2022
When I wake up, my skin doesn't feel greasy but instead feels soft and moisturized. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. However, those sensitive to fragrances should be cautious! - se**********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 26, 2022
I loved how it smoothly glided onto my skin with a nice, clingy texture. After application, my skin felt firmer, as if it was tightening up the loose skin that typically follows cleansing. After applying, my skin felt somewhat dry, so I wouldn't recommend it for winter use. I especially recommend using this in summer after your cleansing foam, when your skin feels tired and lacklustre! - 74*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 23, 2022
I used this in summer, and usually I hate the feeling of moisture evaporating after applying emulsion to my face. So I casually opened a sample, and to my surprise, the hydration stayed put! Even the sample was sealed with an aluminum-like cover - I thought, 'Is this a fancy product?' Turns out, it really is high-end! But even when applied in summer, it definitely doesn't cause blemishes and forms a coating that prevents moisture loss. Even a small amount works wonders, it's fantastic! Winter might be different, but I'm considering buying it to try in the colder months too. Wow, I used the sample liberally, not realizing it was such a premium product... Oops! It's a bit rich, but that's expected for a cream. I like how it feels like it's enveloping my face, so it's pretty good (and it doesn't cause blemishes). After applying emulsion thoroughly, you can use just a pea-sized amount to cover your entire face and neck.
