I can't believe this is discontinued! The scent is so unique - it has a really strong citrus aroma. You can smell lime, apple, and grapefruit. The beautiful green color is such a mood booster too! Over time, it feels like the oil and cream layers separate. It seems to become more watery and tends to be on the oily side, so I mixed it with a body gel when using it. - ji******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 5, 2022
There's no need to even mention Lush's product quality - it speaks for itself! Each item has its own unique scent and the moisturizing power is simply amazing. The fragrance can be quite polarizing. It's absolutely essential to try a tester first. And oh, the price... it's wickedly high! Apply it in the morning before you start your day, and you'll be set for a delightful mood all day long! - dk*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 27, 2020
The texture is not overly thick, but has just the right emulsion-like consistency. It applies smoothly and absorbs well, with good hydration. The absorption speed into the skin seems pretty decent too. The scent might be polarizing. If you're a fan of fruity fragrances, especially citrus notes, you'll probably like it. I think Lush is a great brand because they don't test on animals, which I've always viewed positively. They also follow eco-friendly principles, so I hope more people will use their products. - hi********Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 13, 2020
This product has me eagerly anticipating Halloween...! The sweet apple scent really lifts my mood. After showering, I apply this before bed and the fragrance helps me drift off to sleep feeling content. It's such a unique scent... I've never encountered an apple fragrance quite like this before. It's slightly tangy but predominantly sweet! Like apples dipped in honey... And the pale green color is so pretty too. The absorbs well, making it easy to apply and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. I'm so pleased with it that I've decanted some into a small container to use as a hand cream on-the-go. The jar packaging feels a bit unhygienic since you have to scoop the product out with your fingers. Also, it's a shame it's only available during the Halloween season... I transfer some into a tube for more convenient use. - ro*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2020
This is actually a seasonal winter product, not discontinued. It lasts incredibly long, and while it might stick to your clothes after use in the sauna, the fragrance is absolutely divine. It's best to purchase this during the seasonal period. Paying full price might be a bit risky considering the expiration date. - gy******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 30, 2020
I bought the large size when it came out as a limited winter edition last year because the scent was so amazing. The fragrance lasts well and it's nicely moisturizing, so I've been using it happily. It has a refreshing apple scent! Now that it's been released as an ongoing product, I feel like I shouldn't have bought the large size. There's a slight stickiness or oiliness to it. Still, I'm using it well enough. - lo*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 25, 2020
In a nutshell, it's absolutely fantastic! This body emulsion has a delightfully fresh apple scent that could have come straight out of a fairy tale. I first tried the Naked version, used it all up, and bought it again. I went through two Naked bottles last year! I usually find body emulsions a hassle to apply, but this one's fragrance is so appealing that it's become a staple in my routine. After finishing it, I decided to try the Black Pot version and bought it in a larger size. Let me compare the Black Pot version with the Naked and highlight some benefits! Hydration: Black Pot cream < Naked The Naked version feels somewhat softer and more moisturizing, perhaps due to the warmth created when melting it in your hands. It seems to provide longer-lasting hydration on the skin, while the cream formula appears to absorb more quickly. Fragrance longevity: Black Pot < Naked While the difference isn't huge, the Naked version seems to last a bit longer and have a stronger scent. In my personal opinion, Lush products with stronger moisturizing properties tend to have longer-lasting and more intense fragrances (e.g., Ro's Argan Body Conditioner). It's a Christmas edition, so it's great to stock up during the Fresh New Year sale! Above all, whether it's Black Pot or Naked... it feels good to make an environmentally conscious purchase. A great way to justify the splurge! Naked: It would be nice if it came with a dedicated case... or at least a handle. Of course, storing it in a Black Pot could work well! Black Pot: The coloring... it seems like way too much has been added. And it would be amazing if they made it part of the ongoing range! For the Naked version, it's best to melt it in your palms first before applying! And don't apply it when your skin is wet! - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedFeb 1, 2020
The scent starts off strong but becomes subtle over time. The moisturizing effect and softness last for a long while. The fragrance is so intense that my daughter gets headaches, her eyes sting, and it makes her sneeze. - fa****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 13, 2020
At first, there's a subtle leafy scent, but after application, it transforms into a delightful blend of apple and floral notes, reminiscent of a crisp green apple with a touch of heavier floral undertones. I first tried this Christmas edition at a Lush store, and the amazing scent lingered so long that I went back the next day to purchase it. Fragrance longevity: It definitely lasts longer than regular body creams and has a more intense scent! (Some might find it a bit strong, but it varies from person to person.) When I apply it after an evening bath, the fragrance gently infuses my pajamas and subtly lingers on my skin the next day. The longevity is impressive. Moisturizing power: As someone with extremely dry skin, I usually mix body emulsions with oils. However, this cream should work well year-round for most skin types, except those with very dry or problematic skin. While Lush's signature jar packaging isn't particularly inconvenient, a pump dispenser would be more user-friendly. I was aware that Lush products often have vibrant colors and use a fair amount of colorants along with their natural ingredients. However, the fluorescent lime green color of this cream seems a bit excessive in terms of artificial coloring, which is disappointing. Despite the pleasant fragrance and good longevity, I'm unsure about repurchasing due to this concern. Try applying this cream to areas where you'd normally spritz perfume - it provides a subtle, long-lasting fragrance throughout the day. It's perfect for those who dislike the intense, artificial feel of traditional perfumes! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 12, 2019
The scent is lovely - a wonderfully intense apple fragrance. It's also quite rich, so you only need to apply a small amount for deep hydration. There's not really anything to complain about, except perhaps the price is a bit on the higher side????
