The fragrance is incredibly strong and long-lasting. I usually shower in the evening, and by morning, the scent of most body emulsions I apply at night has faded away. However, this fragrance lingers until the morning. I felt the moisturizing effect was lacking compared to its texture. Using a body cream that you have to scoop out was too cumbersome for me. It has an extremely heavy scent more suitable for fall and winter - a very rich and sweet fragrance. I found the overly sweet scent overwhelming, so I mixed it with a fragrance-free, lighter body emulsion when using it.

The fragrance also lingers pleasantly along with the moisturizing effect. The scent is reminiscent of a delicious butter cookie - it's truly mood-lifting! It's perfect for use during fall and winter seasons. I'm extremely satisfied with its long-lasting moisturizing power, which is why I'm giving it such a high rating! It seems to have a slightly lower absorption rate, giving a feeling of sitting on the skin initially. However, it does eventually sink in over time. The inclusion of triethanolamine is really disappointing! As someone with a sensitive nose, prolonged exposure to the product's scent can make me feel nauseous and unwell. The after-feel might be uncomfortable for summer use, making it less suitable for that season. Try decanting some into a small portable bottle using a syringe for on-the-go application! Also, if you collect 5 empty Black Pots and return them to Lush, they'll exchange them for a fresh face mask!
