Skin type: Dry, Sensitive Usage period: 5 months * Great for calming redness and heat sensation in summer. * Creates a synergistic effect when used with skincare devices. * After using it as an overnight mask, skin feels hydrated and soft the next morning. * Daily use gives a refreshing sensation and makes skin feel healthier. The price is a bit high, so I hesitate to buy it unless it's part of a group purchase. - sk*******Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedJun 10, 2025
You can feel the hydration and soothing effect immediately upon application. It's a gel-type product that I use as a mask, and I also mix a small amount with my moisturizer. When I use this, I can feel my skin becoming more firm and elastic. The price is high, but I'm satisfied with the generous amount. I didn't find any particular drawbacks. - pm****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 22, 2025
It feels refreshingly cool, like it's been kept in the fridge, quickly soothing any heat on your skin. After working out, my face usually turns as red as a baked sweet potato, but if I apply this before showering and wash it off at the end, it effectively calms the redness and heat. The cooling sensation isn't artificial like menthol, and it's not irritating at all. Since it doesn't absorb too quickly, I also use it when I'm using my facial devices. It's quite sticky. Not in an oily way, but it feels like you've spread wood glue on your face. I apply a thick layer on my face, use my facial device, then wipe it off before continuing with my skincare routine. - na******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRednessRecommendedMay 5, 2025
This is absolutely amazing!! I have thin, super sensitive skin that's like a jellyfish. I also have some facial redness, and if my skin barrier weakens, I turn into a tomato :( Even though I'm diligent with my home skincare routine, my skin still flares up sometimes due to sunscreen or environmental factors. The aloe pack is nice, but you should try this... The soothing and cooling effects are insane! You can use it like an aloe pack, but it's almost too good to wash off. What worked best for me was applying a decent amount to my face and then putting on a gel mask - it was perfect! Leave it on for a while, then take it off and finish with your last cream step for best results. It worked much better than just using a gel mask alone. Alternatively, you can slather it on generously like a sleeping pack over your night cream before bed (just be prepared for some stickiness). The only downside is the price, but it's worth it if you buy it from the market. I'm glad I stocked up on two! You don't even need to refrigerate it to feel the coolness. The combination of this and a gel mask is fantastic! - lu********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 6, 2025
This is truly the holy grail of holy grails. I bought it with my own money and I'm using it. It's worth every penny. I have redness-prone skin with large pores, but thanks to its high azulene content, this product really calms my skin after use. I apply it generously for 20 minutes, rinse it off, then follow with my skincare routine. I also use a thin layer as a sleeping mask. The next morning, my complexion looks so clear and bright! The only downside is the price... Make sure to grab it during group buys! It's definitely a must-have item I stock up on during every group purchase opportunity! - so*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 18, 2024
This product is said to soothe skin with a weakened barrier that often becomes red, sensitive skin, and skin prone to heat sensations. It also helps alleviate itching. All these benefits were exactly what I had been looking for, so I was really excited to try it. It's a gentle gel-type product, and I tried using it in two different ways. First, after cleansing, I applied it all over my face with a spatula and gently removed it with a damp sponge after 15-20 minutes. The second method was to apply a generous amount of gel to my face and then use a device with an absorption mode to help it penetrate. I used the Dongkook Pharmaceutical Centellian24 Madeca Prime absorption mode. After using the absorption mode, I found it more effective to wait about 5-10 minutes before wiping it off with a sponge, rather than removing it immediately after using the device. Of the two methods, for my sensitive skin, I found that applying the product, leaving it on for about 30 minutes, and then wiping it off with a sponge was the most effective approach, even more so than using the device. The results were incredible for calming small bumps, itching, flushed skin, and allergic skin inflammation. Last week, I had an allergic reaction from using a product that didn't suit me, causing my entire face to become red, itchy, and inflamed. After consistently using this Azulene gel for special care every evening for 3 days, it completely healed my skin. So far, I haven't found any aspects of using this product that I'm disappointed with. - kb********Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 11, 2024
Hyaluronic acid-based skincare from Le Mieux. Unlike some low-quality hyaluronic products that can cause tiny bumps, you don't have to worry about that with Le Mieux. Apple water and azulene are my favorite ingredients. For the water/toner step: I mix azulene gel about 1:1 with toner and apply after my regular toner. At first, it stung a bit, making me think 'Did I waste my money?', but after 3 minutes the tingling stopped. I bravely left it on (don't try this at home, it could ruin your face if it doesn't suit you!). Thankfully, the tingling was just from the hydration penetrating deeply. For a rich texture, apply directly. For a balanced feel that's neither too heavy nor too light, mix with water or toner. Considering the value for a direct purchase, it's a 5/5. In terms of effectiveness, it's above average. Among various esthetic gel masks, it's good, but not quite 'Wow, I love this so much!' level. Great for soothing, cooling, and hydration. This is perfect for those new to gel masks, looking for a wash-off mask, a versatile azulene mask, or anyone wanting to add another mask to their routine. It's a good value gel mask that doesn't compromise on quality. Be sure to check out the pro tips for use! Go for the direct purchase, Le Mieux has this perfectly balanced feel. It's not like those super luxe brands saying 'We'll make your skin oh-so-soft~', nor is it as basic as drugstore brands. The texture is right in the middle, which is great. Don't use it alone! Right after cleansing, scoop some out and apply it thinly on your face twice, like you would an emulsion. Then, use a mousse mask that's been out of the fridge for about 5 minutes. Leave it on for about 12 minutes. This method gives you a hydration boost and helps with skin heat. It's great for those with heated, dry skin. It's one of my daily masks, I use it every other day. This mask and my mummy mask are my current daily go-tos. Focusing on soothing lately has reduced skin heat and improved my complexion. It's fun! If you want to use a beauty device, mix 0.8 parts toner with 1 part gel and apply. I find it too rich on its own. But when not using a device, it's better to use it with a mousse mask rather than the gel alone. The balance between value and effectiveness is just right. Go for the direct purchase!
