It's great that you don't need to create lather separately. The foam is rich and abundant. It's gentle and soft on the skin. As someone who likes to thoroughly cleanse their face, I find it a bit frustrating as it doesn't seem to clean as deeply as I'd like. It might be good for those with dry, sensitive skin or those with a good complexion. However, for me, I prefer something that can really scrub away dead skin cells and excess oil. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 22, 2021
The foam is rich and creamy. Although it's a bit pricey, the large volume means it lasts for quite a while. I'm not sure about its cleansing effectiveness. The scent isn't particularly appealing either. However, if you massage it in well, it does an okay job. - ok*******Dry SkinRecommendedAug 28, 2020
The self-foaming formula is so convenient - no need to work up a lather yourself. The foam is soft and rich, giving a sense of reliability like a medical-grade product. Even when on sale, it's not great value for money. The scent is disappointing - I'm not sure if it's meant to be unscented, but it's just meh. I'm getting a bit tired of it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 2, 2020
I have super sensitive combination dehydrated skin. Around April-May 2019, my skin went haywire, so after searching for months, I completely changed my products in October. My skin usually flips out during seasonal changes, but after a trip to the US, my oil and moisture balance was totally thrown off. My skin became very dehydrated, with milia and adult acne taking over. Feeling like I needed to focus on hydration to break this vicious cycle, I switched to the Logique Aquatide line. Texture: It's a completely water-based cleanser. The bottle is designed to create foam, which makes it really convenient to use! However, perhaps because it's so water-based and quickly forms bubbles, it lacks that rich feeling - it's quite light. Cleansing Effectiveness: Due to its light foam, it might not be strong enough to completely remove heavy makeup. It's great as an evening cleanser on days when you haven't worn makeup. Scent & Quantity: The Aquatide line usually has a great scent, but this Care Foam... the fragrance is really not great. It's like a men's aftershave smell. It's 200ml, and because it comes out as foam, it seems to last quite a while! Blemishes: I chose this because it's gentle and an enzyme cleanser. I heard enzyme cleansers are good for removing dead skin cells, but I didn't notice any special effects. Update: I had been using a low pH, gentle gel cleanser recently, but I started getting small but consistent breakouts. I read somewhere that for oily skin types like mine, using low pH cleansers for too long might not effectively remove oil, leading to breakouts. So I switched back to this product, and within days, my existing acne started to clear up. Since then, I haven't had any new breakouts on my chin where I used to get them regularly! Firstly, the scent is really... To me, it smells like men's aftershave, and having to smell this the entire time while washing... It makes me hesitate about repurchasing. The price also seems a bit high. The foam isn't as rich as I'd like! I prefer products with a richer texture. I mix two types of foam cleansers! If you want a richer texture, try mixing it with another cleanser! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJan 23, 2020
I love how it lathers up nicely. It's incredibly mild and gentle - I'm not sure how to describe it, but it feels amazingly soft! The scent is also fairly pleasant and I'm quite satisfied with it. The bubble generation feels a bit artificial, and it runs out quickly, which makes me feel like I'm not getting my money's worth. It gets used up fast. Also, the opening is larger than expected, so I worry it might spoil quickly if exposed to air. Make sure to close the lid tightly! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresSep 22, 2019
The bubbly formula with a slightly acidic pH feels effective at removing excess oil. Seems great for morning cleansing, especially for combination skin types. Surprised to find out it contains fragrance - the scent reminds me of dish soap. I thought it was fragrance-free. Its cleansing effectiveness is neither particularly good nor bad, leaving it in an awkward middle ground. Not suitable for removing makeup. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2019
At first, I thought it was just okay and was going to give it four stars. But after trying other products and coming right back to this one, I changed it to five stars. I use it in the summer for my morning cleanse and as a second cleanser. After finishing a bottle and switching to a different foam cleanser, my skin felt too tight and dry. Coming back to this, I noticed it helped with my dry, sensitive skin and even cleared up some dead skin cells. I'm definitely sticking with this for now! Compared to other foam cleansers I've used, it's a bit pricey. But considering that nearly 80% of the ingredients are active components rather than just water, I can somewhat justify the cost. The scent is to my liking, but it could be a bit milder. Great for morning cleanse and as a second cleanser! For the second cleanse, if you leave the foam on for a bit before rinsing, it gives an even cleaner feeling. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 18, 2019
The fragrance is included, but it's totally my style! It's not an overpowering scent that puts you off, but a subtle aroma that perfectly suits the name and product. The case is sturdy, and the foam isn't super dense, just regular foam? After cleansing, my skin feels incredibly hydrated without any dryness. For this price, I wish they had used natural extracts or floral oils for fragrance instead of artificial fragrances. Considering how many affordable mousse cleansers are available these days, I question why anyone would specifically choose to buy this product. You'll truly appreciate this product's value once you've tried it, then used something else, and come back to it. Initially, I thought, 'Why bother with this at this price?' But after using other brands' cleansing foams and returning to this one, wow... You can actually feel your skin loving it. - dm********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 26, 2019
The foam is gentle and the scent is subtle. After cleansing, my skin feels moisturized without any tightness. There's nothing particularly inconvenient about it, but the packaging isn't very attractive. Apart from that, it's good. - fo********Oily SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 8, 2019
The ingredients are gentle and the scent is subtle. I have sensitive skin that's prone to blemishes when changing cleansers, but this didn't cause any issues. While I personally wish it didn't contain fragrance, the scent is admittedly pleasant. Both the ingredients and the feel suggest it prioritizes hydration over cleansing. Instead of a squeaky-clean sensation, it contains glycerin and allantoin, leaving your face moisturized without tightness after washing. I'd recommend this for those looking for a mild cleanser for morning use. It's not exactly budget-friendly. The cleansing effectiveness is also somewhat lacking. While I'd recommend it for morning cleansing, for evening use... it's not even quite effective enough as a second cleanse. Since over-cleansing can be harmful to the skin, I end up not using it much in the evenings. The foam starts out rich but sometimes suddenly becomes thin and weak (I've been startled thinking it was empty, but pumping again produces rich foam... why does this happen?)
