The color payoff is excellent and long-lasting. The shades are beautiful and create a sophisticated look. You can use this product in various ways - how and where you apply it is up to you. This is a beautiful eyeshadow with a warm, brick-like hue that has a subtle yellow undertone. It's versatile and easy to use for everyday looks. The warm color really captures the essence of autumn, making it perfect for fall makeup. While the price might be considered a bit steep, I have to say I've hit pan on this one! It's that good.

You can think of it as a shaded version of the Tete a Tint color. I usually apply Tete a Tint under my eyes for a cute look, while I use Soft Brown along my eyelid crease to make my eyes appear longer and deeper. There's minimal excess powder fallout. The color is warm, making the eyes look deeper without being too intense. It seems like a well-crafted product. I don't have any major complaints and I'm satisfied. It's worth the money. However, I do wish it had the Powder Kiss formula for better color payoff. Since there are Powder Kiss eyeshadows available, I can't help but compare and feel it would be even better if the color was as intense as the Powder Kiss ones. I prefer applying it with a Picasso 777 pencil brush. If you know of any other brushes that work well for color application, please recommend them!

The color payoff is great and it lasts well. You can use it for various purposes all over. There's not really anything bad... Maybe the lid breaks easily? That's about it. Nothing else stands out.

When it comes to color cosmetics, I've been loyal to MAC and Make Up For Ever eyeshadows for about 20 years, especially for shadows. The pigmentation and staying power of these brands make it impossible for me to switch to others. Even though the ingredients might not be the cleanest, the color payoff and longevity keep me coming back. This shade is a versatile basic that suits both cool and warm tones. It's a beautiful staple that works well alone or paired with shades like Soba or Casino. While there are many eyeshadows with cleaner ingredients these days, it's disappointing that this one contains talc, a potentially carcinogenic substance. The color intensity varies depending on whether you apply a single layer or build it up, so adjust the amount carefully. With proper application, you can create both everyday looks and dramatic eye makeup for special occasions.

I especially love using it to add a subtle shadow at the outer corners and under my eyes after doing a peach/coral/pink eye look. It actually suits me better than cooler-toned browns without the red undertone. I'd recommend using this more for adding depth and dimension rather than as a standalone eyeshadow. The pigmentation is really impressive, so a light hand is all you need. Just be careful not to overdo it, as the redness can make your eyes look puffy if applied too heavily. Due to its reddish undertone, it might not be the best choice for those with very cool complexions. A must-have for adding subtle depth to the outer corners and under-eye area.
