- Absorbs smoothly - Generous amount of product - Dries quickly for long-lasting wear - No excess fallout, so the shimmer stays put without spreading to other areas of the face - Customizable color intensity and shimmer effect depending on application amount (In the photo, both top and bottom are the Paint Pot, but the mood, color, and shimmer vary based on application) - Soft and luxurious color payoff - The fine shimmer particles require thorough cleansing (double cleansing is a must) - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJan 9, 2018
Holy grail product! I use it almost every day, 365 days a year. I always struggled with eyeshadow creasing in my double eyelid line, but since using this Paint Pot, I haven't had that problem at all. I don't usually touch up my makeup, but this keeps my eye look intact until I get home. When used as a base, it helps eyeliner stay put too. It really makes my eyes pop! There's a rumor it's being discontinued. It's showing as out of stock on the official website. Apply a small amount all over the eyelid as a base using an eyeshadow brush. It spreads evenly without clumping, and the shimmer is beautifully subtle. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 28, 2017
1. The shimmer is beautiful - not too much, not too little, just delicate and subtle. 2. The staying power is excellent. Being a cream type, it absolutely won't budge. The adherence is remarkable as soon as you apply it. 3. The size is very generous! There's so much product, it seems endless even with regular use. 1. It can be a bit tricky to apply. Using a brush doesn't feel quite right, so I use my fingers, but it tends to get under my nails (personal issue). 2. When applying with fingers, it's hard to distribute evenly and might clump on one side. Once it sets, it's a bit challenging to make adjustments due to its quick adherence. 3. It's not the best for bringing out coral tones on its own. If you're aiming for a coral look, I'd suggest applying eyeshadow first and then layering this on top. - ha******Combination SkinSensitive SkinOct 9, 2017
It's really great as a base. The color adheres so well to my eyes that I don't even need a primer. It's become my daily go-to item. I've already repurchased it! There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, though the price is a bit steep. However, once you buy it, it lasts for a really long time. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 12, 2017
This is my first time trying a cream eyeshadow, and I'm impressed! The shimmer is beautiful, and it absorbs so well on the skin. Being a cream formula, it tends to pill and clump a bit, so you need to apply it carefully for an even finish. - k0**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsOct 7, 2016
The base and color payoff both have a bright coral tint. When applied, it's like a glitter eyeshadow - the pearl effect is glamorous, though the base color is quite sheer. The ratio of gold to pink pearls seems to be about 6:4. The gold pearls are fine, but interestingly, the pink ones are thin, flat, and transparent particles - they're the stars of this dazzling pearl show. The staying power is beyond imagination, easily lasting 10 hours. I only removed it after 10 hours, but it probably would have stayed perfect even longer. For those who've been frustrated with loose eyeshadow fallout - this is it! Use this! While there's still some minimal fallout, it's incomparable to loose powder shadows. Made in Canada. The Paint Pot does harden... and once it hardens, you'll have to throw it away. You need to use it quickly, but it's only 5g? Sigh. I recommend splitting it with a friend. If you've already bought it, make sure to close the lid tightly. Also, you need to remove it thoroughly with a good cleansing product as it's known for being quite stubborn to remove. While it might pill if applied over powder eyeshadow, finishing with this will set your eye makeup regardless! - pu********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresAug 26, 2016
I love the subtle shimmer and creamy texture that absorbs well. My skin tone is a bit dark, so the color isn't too noticeable (it gives a subtle orange tint on my skin), but I appreciate the calm look it provides. I've been using it for 3 years now. It's perfect for when you want to avoid heavy makeup but still need some eye color, or for more formal occasions. If I had to mention a downside, it would be the high price. But it's okay since it lasts quite long and has skin-friendly ingredients. It might show up more intensely on fairer skin tones, which could look really beautiful. Apply it gradually with your fingers, building up the color as you go. You need to be careful with the amount you use. - sm*********Combination SkinJul 18, 2016
I'm honestly surprised why more people aren't using this gem! Personally, I'm already on my third holy grail purchase. The pearl effect is absolutely stellar, and the color is subtly beautiful. It's a winner! Due to its creamy texture, you might find yourself applying it all over your eyelids, which can feel a bit heavy. At first, you might end up applying it a bit thick. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 7, 2016
I'm definitely considering repurchasing. The pearlescent effect is truly excellent, and when used together with a layering glow product, it looks absolutely beautiful. The shimmer particles are so fine that sometimes it can feel a bit excessive. I often use it when I'm going for a natural look, toning down other color cosmetics. - Hwahae UserOily SkinOct 1, 2015
I can't believe I can apply glitter too! It feels soft and moisturizing when applied. It lasts until evening. Even with watery eyes, it doesn't smudge much. When I apply it to my aegyo sal (under-eye area), the glitter doesn't seem to spread excessively. It's free from phenoxyethanol and doesn't crease. Compared to Quite Natural Perky, it seems to pill and get into my eyes, perhaps due to the glitter. The sparkle isn't particularly pretty. Some days it can look cakey... It works well if applied correctly, but for someone who's not great at makeup... sigh. The price is quite high. I haven't found the right brush yet. You need to quickly apply it by gently rubbing it with your ring finger. It's best to close the lid immediately after scooping out the shadow. If it dries out, you can breathe on it to soften it. Cotton swabs work well too. This product seems great for those who struggle with powder eyeshadows.
