First off, the case is just gorgeous... It even has Ariana's signature on it. The color is so unique that I'm still treasuring it even though it's probably well past its expiration date. It's incredibly beautiful... I only use it once a year around Halloween, but it's totally worth it. The deep color can easily become patchy when applied. You need to use a lip brush for precise application from the start, and trying to create a gradient look is just laughable! The color is truly beautiful. The case is also really pretty. Since it's a matte type, it doesn't transfer much after application! Being a matte type, it can easily accentuate dead skin cells if you're not careful, and because the color is intense, it's hard to remove if it smudges. If you find the color too bold, try creating a gradient effect with other lipsticks you own! I use it with Relentlessly Red or Russian Red, and it looks gorgeous.

First off, the color is an incredibly clear dark plum. There's no muddy yellow or gray undertones, so it really makes your face light up. And despite its matte formula, it has great staying power without drying out your lips. Unlike cheaper options that can leave your lips feeling parched, this one feels comfortable. So let's all stock up! As a dark plum enthusiast, it breaks my heart that this is a limited edition and destined to be discontinued soon... The tip is to stock up, so let's do that! Top-tier color payoff and staying power. An uncommon shade that creates a calm and enigmatic look for cool-toned individuals who might be tired of vibrant pinks. Definitely a 100% repurchase for me. The cocoa-like scent and matte finish are slightly disappointing, but that's characteristic of MAC. The fragrance isn't unbearable though. If applied incorrectly, it might give you a look straight out of an 80s magazine, so proper application is key. Rather than full coverage, I found it satisfying to first apply a moisturizing cherry-toned balm or gloss, then gently pat this lipstick on the inner lips. This technique covers the matte texture and creates a natural, intriguing color. Top: 1, 2, 3 applications. Bottom: Mixed with Demeter Wild Cherry. Recommended for those with cool undertones.
