I mix it with a high-coverage, matte foundation (about half and half) and use concealer for any remaining blemishes. It's become an essential in my routine! On its own, it lacks a bit in coverage and staying power. Unless you're blessed with flawless skin and only have minimal imperfections to cover, or you're going for a very natural look, you'll need to use this in combination with other products. For those who have some blemishes but don't want to use a full-coverage matte foundation, I recommend mixing this product with your usual base. When I first tried it, I was amazed at how thinly and smoothly it applied! It doesn't look cakey or obvious like other foundations, and there's no pilling at all. This might just be my impression, but it seems to control oil too, which is fantastic! It covers small blemishes well, but doesn't seem to hide larger ones, unfortunately. It matches my complexion so well that it looks like I'm not wearing makeup. Even as time passes and the makeup breaks down, it's hardly noticeable. It's not heavy at all. I didn't experience any blemishes. It worked fine on its own and also paired well with other foundations. The coverage is lower than I expected. It really doesn't look like I'm wearing makeup. I mean, it REALLY doesn't show at all. When combined with powder, the coverage improves and it's actually not bad. However, I don't usually use powder much, so that was a bit disappointing for me.
