As someone who usually prefers a 21 shade with a yellow base, I absolutely loved the color. Applying it lightly with the puff gave my skin a beautiful glow. The coverage is impressive, creating a semi-matte finish with excellent adherence to the skin. The disappointing aspects are mainly about the case. First, it's a shame there's no mirror. Second, unlike typical cushion foundations, you have to open the lid to take out the puff, which is quite inconvenient. This product applies with good coverage. For best results, lightly spritz some mist on the puff before use. If you dab on a bit of concealer for blemishes before applying the foundation, you'll get even better coverage. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 21, 2020
The skin looks beautiful and it applies incredibly thinly. The absorption is excellent. It's a perfect size to fit in one hand, so you could probably just carry this instead of a cushion compact. It works hard to create a flawless complexion. The shades... unfortunately, they're on the lighter side. There are only three shades available, and all of them are quite bright. The built-in puff applies well, but it's challenging to spread evenly. You'll likely need to pat and blend a lot. If your skincare base isn't solid, it might feel a bit drying on the skin. If you have some blemishes, I recommend layering it multiple times for better coverage. - ha*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 16, 2020
Can be applied thinly with a cutting brush. Coverage is moderate - just right (not as full as Double Wear). It's not drying and has a slightly glowy semi-matte finish. The color matches perfectly for average Korean skin tones in the 21-22 range. Overseas, they had Natural, Sand, and many other shades, but I bought two colors available in Korea. This one looks more natural than Pearl Beige (for reference, I'm a warm bright tone). It transfers slightly when touched with a finger after 10 minutes. If you want longer-lasting wear, you'll need to set it with powder. The included puff is so-so. It doesn't give a particularly brightening effect - it's truly natural-looking. I recommend applying a thin layer on the cheeks with your fingers, then blending thoroughly with a brush. It doesn't set too quickly, so a brush works well. I used the angled Real Techniques foundation brush, just lightly dipping the tip, and it created such a natural skin-like finish! Previously, my foundation looked heavy and obvious, but this one is perfect for me. It looks just like my own skin - so natural! - to****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 16, 2020
This is a product I used consistently when I lived in Hong Kong and couldn't get Korean cosmetics. I bought it from SANA stores. It's been over 5 years, and now I can finally use it in Korea. I'm so happy about it that I'm leaving this review. *Coverage -Top-notch coverage. I had a lot of acne scars on my face, but this foundation covered them so well that I didn't need concealer. *Longevity -Despite Hong Kong's high temperatures for 3 out of 4 seasons and year-round humidity, this foundation lasted longer than most others when applied. The coverage and longevity alone explain all the advantages of this product. *Darkening -Seems to be a characteristic of Western products, but it darkens with a reddish tint *Thickness -Being a balm type, it doesn't apply thinly *Adherence -It applies with a powdery finish, but that also means it transfers easily This foundation is perfect for when you want to show off that you've put on some serious makeup today! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMay 31, 2020
As someone with oily skin, I dislike how my pores stand out in the T-zone and butterfly zone. I usually apply powder after foundation, but this product has such a silky finish that it's sufficient on its own! Since I'm shade 27, I mainly use this color on highlight areas like the apples of my cheeks and the bridge of my nose. It's especially great for touch-ups and works hard throughout the day. There's no mirror in the packaging, so you need to carry one separately. The built-in puff is a bit awkward to use, so I carry a teardrop puff with its own case instead. Using this to even out your skin tone before applying blush helps conceal pores and creates a smooth base, resulting in much better color payoff! It's an absolute dream combination when used with the Etude House acorn puff! - ya******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 18, 2020
I have warm undertones but prefer a lighter complexion, so I opted for Golden Ivory. Despite being a pot-type foundation, the formula melts into the skin like a multi-balm, making it comfortable even for dry skin types. It adheres to the skin in an incredibly thin layer, yet provides excellent coverage and adherence, even concealing pores for a smooth finish. Unlike many foreign brand foundations that can be too yellow or white, this one blends seamlessly without looking out of place. It gives a subtle glow that beautifully enhances skin texture. The included puff is soft and dense, and I experienced no caking or patchiness. While I didn't find any significant drawbacks, it's worth noting that applying with a brush rather than the puff might result in an even thinner application. The semi-matte finish makes it ideal for summer use.
