common.HWAHAE_TRIAL_REVIEWERS_DESCRIPTIONProsWhenever my skin feels super sensitive, this mask works hard to calm it down almost instantly. Thanks to the Madecassoside, redness and irritation visibly fade away, and once I peel it off, my complexion feels incredibly smooth and balanced. The hydration lasts so much longer than a regular sheet mask, and my makeup glides on beautifully the next morning. It honestly feels like a luxurious spa treatment right at home — I am absolutely in love with it.
ConsThe mask sets a little faster than expected, so applying it evenly can be a bit tricky at first. It would be even better if it stayed workable just a touch longer. And since it is single-use, it feels like a bit of an effort to reach for it every day — but honestly, the results are so impressive that it is the first thing I reach for the night before any big occasion.
TipsMix it with cold water for an extra cooling sensation that really soothes the skin. After removing the mask, pat any leftover ampoule directly onto your face to lock in hydration for even longer. Try storing it in the fridge beforehand — the calming effect feels twice as powerful when it is nice and chilled.

common.HWAHAE_TRIAL_REVIEWERS_DESCRIPTIONProsPros - Madecassoside works hard to calm and soothe the skin After using this mask, redness and that uncomfortable burning sensation visibly settle down — you can really feel the difference. Even on days when your skin is super sensitive or dealing with dead skin cells, it soothes everything without any irritation. Honestly, the satisfaction level is through the roof. - A hydrating, comfortable finish — even for dry skin Thanks to the cooling effect that modeling masks are known for, hydration stays locked in long after you peel it off, with zero deep dryness. Dry skin types, you can use this without any worries. - Peels off cleanly in one go Get the mixing ratio right, and the mask sets into a firm, flexible layer that lifts off smoothly with barely any residue left behind.
ConsCons - A surprising amount of packaging waste per single use Between the powder pouch, water pouch, cup, spatula, and outer wrapping, there's quite a bit of packaging trash generated from just one use — something worth keeping in mind. - The included cup and spatula feel a bit underwhelming Mixing the powder in such a small paper cup can get messy — it tends to overflow or not blend evenly. The disposable paper spatula is also quite flimsy and awkward to work with, making it tricky to apply the mask smoothly and evenly.
TipsTips for Best Results 1. Stick to the recommended ratio — and always add water first, then powder Adding water before the powder (not the other way around) and mixing quickly helps everything blend smoothly without clumping. 2. Apply a generous, even layer all over your face for a clean peel If the layer is too thin, it may tear or leave residue when you remove it. Pay extra attention to the outer edges of your face — go a little thicker there. 3. Double up on the cooling and soothing benefits Pop your purified water in the fridge for a few minutes before mixing. Using chilled water takes the cooling effect and skin-calming benefits to the next level. 4. A dedicated brush makes all the difference Skip the included spatula and reach for a wide, firm brush or a silicone mask brush instead — it helps you apply the mask more evenly and effortlessly.

common.HWAHAE_TRIAL_REVIEWERS_DESCRIPTIONProsIt works great for calming the skin and bringing down that burning sensation. After using it, you can really feel the hydration, and the application is so simple that I think I'll be reaching for it all the time.
ConsHonestly, there were no real downsides. It goes on smoothly and peels off easily — pretty solid all around.

common.HWAHAE_TRIAL_REVIEWERS_DESCRIPTIONProsWhen I first poured it into the mixing bowl, I thought the amount looked smaller than expected and worried I wouldn't be able to apply it generously. But after mixing, there was plenty to cover my face thoroughly. Before applying, I hydrated my skin with a derma ampoule, then used this modeling mask. When I peeled it off, my skin felt less dry. While I'm not sure about blemish improvement, after using it my complexion looked brighter and calmer, giving my skin a healthier appearance. If I got these results from just one use, I think consistent use could lead to even better results.
ConsThe price... it's truly wicked. 7500 won for just two uses is really steep. Please, I beg you, sell the modeling mask separately!
TipsPersonally, I don't recommend mixing the powder with the ampoule. Instead, apply the ampoule directly to your face, and mix the powder with aloe gel. This way, you can apply it much more smoothly and it feels more hydrating!

common.HWAHAE_TRIAL_REVIEWERS_DESCRIPTIONProsI have combination-to-oily, sensitive skin prone to blemishes and heat sensitivity. After showering on workout days, applying this mask calms the burning sensation, replenishes deep dryness, and helps my makeup go on smoothly the next day! It also seems to reduce breakouts, though I'm not sure about its effect on blemish marks.
ConsThere are no downsides, really! If I had to nitpick, like other sheet masks, the essence can drip a bit. But it's not a big deal - it doesn't run down your face once applied. It's perfect to use while drying your hair.

common.HWAHAE_TRIAL_REVIEWERS_DESCRIPTIONProsThe amount was quite generous, more than I expected! There's a line inside the container to help measure the right amount of water, which was convenient. It also comes with a built-in brush, so you don't need to prepare anything extra - just apply and go. The set is well-designed and would be great for travel too. There's an ampoule to apply before the mask, which I used. I have dry skin that feels tight if I don't apply anything after washing, but since modeling masks take some time to prepare (mixing the powder with water), I applied the included ampoule to my face while preparing. This helped reduce dryness. Applying the mask with the brush gave a slight cooling effect, which was refreshing. The scent wasn't an overpowering cosmetic smell, but rather a natural aroma from the ingredients, which was nice. When I woke up, my skin felt noticeably softer. I tried this modeling mask for a change, and its ease of use makes it suitable for beginners like me. With the included ampoule and overall good composition, it seems like a great choice for when you want to pamper yourself and boost your mood.
ConsGiven the nature of modeling masks, there is more preparation involved compared to sheet masks, but that's what makes it feel more special.
TipsPerhaps because I have super sensitive skin, I noticed a slight sensitivity and redness after using the mask. I applied the remaining ampoule and my usual soothing cream before bed, and by morning it was fine.

common.HWAHAE_TRIAL_REVIEWERS_DESCRIPTIONProsThe amount is generous, and there's absolutely no irritation after use. Other masks often make my super sensitive skin tingle or turn red, but not this one. If the price were a bit friendlier, I'd stock up on these. The best part? The hydration is phenomenal - it really makes me wonder if this is what true deep moisturizing feels like!
ConsI need to write at least 20 characters... Well, there's nothing particularly disappointing about it, except maybe the price. If it could be just a tad more affordable, that would be great.
TipsThe quantity is sufficient. If you control the water well, it's easy to use. I recommend using a paper cup to help manage the water content effectively.

common.HWAHAE_TRIAL_REVIEWERS_DESCRIPTIONProsMy skin type is combination-oily in spring and summer, and combination-dehydrated in fall and winter with dryness around the eyes and mouth. I usually find sheet masks too bothersome, but I decided to try this after remembering a pleasant experience with a mask at the dermatologist's office. It turned out to be simpler than I expected. After cleansing, I prepared 50ml of cold water in advance. The process of mixing the ampule and powder with water, applying it, and then using the remaining ampule wasn't difficult at all. The smooth and cooling sensation when applying is fantastic. You can really feel it soothing your heated skin with its refreshing effect. When mixing the powder, I found it thicker than anticipated, which probably explains why it adheres so well to the face without dripping. The fragrance-free formula makes it suitable for everyone.
ConsWhile I had no issues with the product itself, I felt a bit uneasy about the plastic container used for each application. It would be great if the initial purchase included a reusable container and spatula, with the option to buy just the ampule and powder refills for subsequent purchases.
TipsThe first time I used it, I applied it thickly in the center and thinly around the edges, not knowing any better. This resulted in a slightly messy removal. The next time, I made sure to apply an even, moderately thick layer all over, which made it much easier to peel off and gave better results.

common.HWAHAE_TRIAL_REVIEWERS_DESCRIPTIONProsAfter using the Madecassoside Modeling Mask, I can't say my blemishes disappeared dramatically, but I did use it every 3 days as daily use felt a bit much. The day after application, my skin definitely feels firmer. Unlike other sheet masks that can leave a greasy or sticky residue, this one leaves no unpleasant feeling behind - just plump, refreshed skin. The hydration benefits are undeniable. Following the instructions, I saved some of the ampoule to apply after removing the modeling mask. This two-step process of first letting the skin absorb the product, then sealing it in, definitely yields better results than just using the mask alone. It's great for enhancing skin texture, making it perfect to use the night before you need to apply makeup. Plus, there's no strange smell, which is a bonus!
ConsI'm not sure if this counts as a drawback, but despite the instructions to apply quickly, I got distracted for a moment and... well, I'll show you an example of what happens when it hardens and goes wrong, compared to when it's applied correctly. Lesson learned: once you've mixed the powder, don't get sidetracked!
TipsWhen applying the modeling mask, spread it from the outer edges towards the center, making the edges thicker. This makes it easier to remove later. It's tempting to think that spreading it around more will make it apply better, but moving it around too much on your face actually makes it thinner. So, minimize any excessive spreading motions when applying.

common.HWAHAE_TRIAL_REVIEWERS_DESCRIPTIONProsPerfect for those new to modeling masks! It comes with a bowl and spatula for mixing, plus a single-use packet of modeling mask powder. The mask doesn't harden too quickly, so it's easy to apply comfortably. Like other modeling masks, it has a cooling effect that's great for soothing the skin. When I use it before bed, my skin feels deeply hydrated all through the next day. It's a product I'm really satisfied with.
ConsIn my opinion, the spatula makes it a bit tricky to get that perfect round application. If it came with a sponge too, it would be the ultimate set for removing every last bit of the mask, especially useful for travel. But maybe I'm asking for too much?
TipsAs modeling mask users know, mixing with cold water slows down the hardening process. I highly recommend cold water for beginners. Remember, modeling masks help to lock in all the skincare products applied beforehand. So on mask days, take extra care with your skincare routine - apply your products generously and properly for the best results!
