My skin is super sensitive, but this felt comfortable and didn't cause any issues. The gel formula tends to dry out quickly, but that's the only downside. - 2v***Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 27, 2024
Perfect as a cooling mask when stored in the fridge! It has a soothing effect on blemishes, and being a gel type, it's really great at drawing out heat from your face compared to fabric sheet masks. It dries incredibly fast, seemingly in less than 10 minutes. The packaging is a bit excessive with unnecessary plastic attached to the mask. It tears easily when you try to apply it, and it's so slippery that it often slides off your face. While the soothing and cooling effects are excellent, it's less hydrating and the effects don't last long - you quickly lose that moisturized feeling. It's quite different from other gel masks... which is disappointing. The cooling effect is fantastic, so try storing it in the refrigerator before use. - il*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRednessRecommendedSep 3, 2024
This isn't just for blemishes - it's my absolute favorite gel mask for soothing redness and burning sensations after intense laser treatments that strip your skin raw. When my face was a mess due to laser side effects, I tried every hydrogel mask from Olive Young, even the pricey ones at 10,000 won a pop. But for immediate relief of super sensitive, inflamed skin, nothing beats the Mediheal gel mask. It's a godsend for angry, heat-radiating skin that even reacts to cooling sheet masks. On a 3-hour trip from the countryside to Seoul, I kept it on under the AC, and it dramatically reduced the burning and redness. As you can see in the photo, it only dried a bit at the edges - overall, it stayed nicely moist. It's a win-win: blocks wind while drawing out heat. Thinner than other hydrogel masks, with great adherence, and it's transparent so it's not distracting. Olive Young often has sales, so I grab it whenever I see it! This nude gel mask is more for calming redness and releasing heat rather than nourishing the skin. For soothing blemishes, I'd recommend a different product... Pro tip: Use it with a fan or AC for the ultimate satisfaction! - tb*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 2, 2024
This is absolutely fantastic to use for soothing in the summer...!!! Putting this on and turning on the air conditioning is pure heaven...!!! It dries well, but the forehead part is a bit small, haha. It would be great if the forehead section was a bit wider. - je**********Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 8, 2024
Wow, this product is absolutely mind-blowing!! For real!! I bought this during a sale and I'm so impressed!!!! The thing that really amazed me was when I got some arm blemishes as summer approached. I applied the leftover essence from the mask to my arms, and those blemishes disappeared like magic! Of course, there's plenty of essence, and it has a cooling effect that feels so refreshing! I love how the mask is divided into upper and lower face sections. But what really blew me away was how my arm blemishes cleared up in just one day! Personally, I think this works way better than Mediheal's Tea Tree Ampoule Mask Pack! Mediheal products go on sale frequently, so make sure to stock up when they're discounted!! I've already hoarded about 15 sheets myself, haha! Because it's a gel-type mask, when you peel it off after 20 minutes, tiny bits of gel roll off like dead skin cells... While that's a bit disappointing, I can overlook it because the results are so incredible! Make sure to generously apply the remaining essence on your arms and legs!! If you have back or chest blemishes, be sure to apply it there too!! - sc*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 30, 2024
I've been using Mediheal's Tea Tree line pads, but personally, I found this gel face mask to have an even better soothing effect! My skin on one side had been acting up and getting all bumpy, which was really stressing me out. But after using this, it feels much calmer. There's nothing particularly bad to mention. The sheet adheres well to the skin and it's all good. Oh! If you keep it on for too long, the essence might drip. Try to pat it in as quickly as possible! Use it chilled for an extra refreshing feel. Once it's all absorbed into your face, use any leftover essence to massage your neck - it's a win-win! - je****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 16, 2024
Skin type: Sensitive/Combination dehydrated/Combination + T-zone and cheeks with enlarged pores and excess dead skin cells Skin condition: Occasional blemishes due to mask-wearing Lots of pores on cheeks, generally sensitive skin So I'm picky about ingredients I heard nude gel masks were good, so I bought several products on sale and am writing this review after 8 uses The sheet is double-layered, seeming to hold the ampoule well (That's a bit inconvenient... bothersome?) After removing both sheets, you need to apply the textured side to your face At first, I applied the smooth side without reading the instructions Quickly peeled it off and reapplied with the correct side, haha If you apply the smooth side, it'll slide off your face So I strongly recommend applying the textured side to your face. It seems to be for blemish soothing with tea tree ingredients, but compared to other masks, this product doesn't seem to have much of a tea tree effect So I feel the blemish-soothing effect isn't great for the price, lol That might be why the rating is a bit low. The nude gel mask has an immediate cooling effect, so I think it might be able to temporarily care for blemishes. It's a nude gel pack that can be used even on super sensitive skin If you've only tried sheet masks, I think you'd like this product too It's on the pricier side, so I recommend buying it when it's on sale~ Not very helpful for soothing blemishes Having to remove two layers Confusion about which side of the mask to use For ultra-hydrated skin, layer a sheet mask over the nude gel pack - uo******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 6, 2024
I bought this to soothe my skin when it was acting up, and it adheres well without sliding off. The gel-type mask feels more concentrated, providing intense hydration. I loved how it didn't slip around but instead felt like it was truly nourishing my skin. I later learned that tea tree might not suit everyone's skin type. While I didn't experience any issues, as someone with sensitive skin, I'm a bit hesitant about continued use. I've decided to use it confidently when my skin is in good condition. - dd********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 24, 2024
Where do I begin... I've tried madecassoside masks before, but somehow I keep reaching for this one more often. As I've become more invested in skincare, my collection has grown to include masks ranging from 4,000 to 5,000 won each, 90,000 won wash-off masks, and even some in the 100,000 won range. Despite having these high-end products, I still find myself turning to this mask when I need quick soothing. Once, when my face was covered in blemishes and I had just removed my makeup, I thought, 'Oh no, this will take a month to clear up.' But at a hotel, I applied this mask for an hour during a half-body bath (the steam from the tub kept the mask from drying out). I massaged my tired body, went to sleep, and when I woke up... 95% of my blemishes had disappeared! I can't forget that experience. Now, I often use this mask in the shower or just lying down, but that method gave the most dramatic results. I'm buying more tomorrow... The only issue is the price, so I only buy it when it's on sale for 2,000 won. Somehow, paying 4,000 won feels too much, even though I have plenty of expensive masks. I'm not sure why I feel this way. There's nothing to complain about, so it's hard to write more than 20 characters... Try using this mask during a half-body bath while massaging your whole body. Or, since it's transparent, you can use an LED device over it for amazing results. - je**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresJan 20, 2024
It didn't cause any skin irritation or blemishes. While I personally enjoy the tea tree scent, this mask is practically fragrance-free. This gel mask doesn't live up to its price point. Usually, this type of material adheres well and provides unparalleled hydration that regular fabric masks can't match, but that's not the case here. The embossed texture and lack of flexibility result in poor adherence, and it dries out quickly too. The mask size is awkward and doesn't fit the face well, and the fact that it's a two-piece mask makes it even more inconvenient. The soothing effect is minimal, and it lacks both hydration and cooling properties. I'd rather just use a regular tea tree ampoule mask instead.
