I have fair skin, around shade 22, but I prefer using shades between 19-21. My skin is combination, leaning slightly more towards dry than oily. I have extremely sensitive skin that reacts badly to most cushions, and I occasionally deal with seborrheic dermatitis in specific areas (I apply ointment when it flares up). This cushion seems to be a perfect match for me! It applies thinly while keeping my skin hydrated and doesn't cause any darkening. There's minimal transfer, and it gives my skin a smooth appearance. I love that it doesn't have that artificial, lightweight, powdery finish - my skin just feels comfortable. I recently tried the Ahn Yujin Amuse Tanning Kitty Cushion because it was so cute, but it ended up causing tiny bumps all over my skin. I've just managed to calm it down. On a whim, I bought this cushion on Coupang after quickly checking the ingredients (it has some kind of soothing cica component). To my surprise, I haven't had any reactions - no itching at all. For reference, the Naming Matt Cushion was also fine for me - no reactions or subtle bumpy skin texture. I'm just so happy (and grateful) that I had to write this somewhat disorganized praise! Absolutely nothing negative to say! Everything is great, from the pretty packaging to the product itself. Please sell this forever! Even those with dermatitis can use this gentle cushion without any skin discomfort. This review highlights the importance of finding the right cushion foundation for sensitive and reactive skin. The reviewer's experience showcases how a well-formulated product can provide coverage without causing irritation or blemishes. It's particularly noteworthy that this cushion worked well for someone with seborrheic dermatitis, suggesting it might be suitable for others with similar skin concerns. The comparison to other popular cushions adds valuable context for potential buyers with sensitive skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 30, 2024
As someone who's had blemishes since childhood and experienced increased pigmentation and freckles after two pregnancies, I find this cushion foundation amazing! It applies thinly while effectively covering imperfections, eliminating the need for heavy makeup. It's perfect for those who prefer a matte finish! The puff is thin, light, and doesn't absorb too much product, allowing for longer use compared to other cushions of the same volume. Its teardrop shape with a pointed tip makes it easy to apply makeup in detailed areas like around the nose. While I, with my combination to oily skin, am extremely satisfied with this product, it might not be suitable for those with dry skin. The matte finish could actually be counterproductive for dry skin types. - l0*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRednessMar 30, 2024
Buying from Cou*** makes it affordable, with prices in the low 10,000 won range, so you can purchase without hesitation. 1. Complexion My skin tone is 19-21, cool-toned for both summer and winter. This cushion had an extremely yellow undertone. It makes my complexion look dull.. 2. Longevity Despite being a matte type, the staying power is terrible. Depending on skin condition, it lasts only 2-4 hours and breaks down quickly even after touch-ups. 3. Puff The built-in puff is small and too pointy, making it uncomfortable to use. - ma********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 16, 2024
Instantly brightens, looks great with a thin layer Best not to apply too much Lasts about 3 hours Provides just the right amount of hydration Can pill if layered too heavily Best applied in a thin layer Wish it had slightly longer staying power Be careful not to over-apply as it can clog pores Spread thinly for best results - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 11, 2023
Right after application, it smooths out my skin texture and makes it look like I've applied flawless makeup. I've been struggling with the recent trend of darker-toned cushions, but this one matches my complexion perfectly. I bought this because it claimed to control oil well, but it pills and slides off faster than any other product I've tried. It's so bad around my nose that I need to use a different product there. My skin condition has also worsened, so I immediately switched to another product. - yo********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresNov 30, 2022
First off, it's really affordable. I bought it for around $10 on a popular online marketplace. My skin tone is between 13-17, so I chose the lightest shade available. However, it's too yellow and dark for me. I bought it because it was supposed to be lighter than shade 21, but it will be too dark for anyone with a 13-17 skin tone. Also, it's extremely matte. It emphasizes texture and dead skin cells terribly. - bl******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 3, 2022
Coverage: My face has many blemishes like spots and dark patches, but this product clearly covers a lot of them when comparing before and after use. Adherence: It adheres well to the skin without looking cakey. Application: It applies smoothly even though I have to pat it on multiple times due to my many blemishes. Other: The teardrop-shaped cushion makes it easy to apply in narrow areas like under the eyes or around the nose. The scent doesn't suit my taste. Fingerprints easily show on the case, making it look messy. The 'merzy' spelling on the case lid is diagonal, making it difficult to find the right direction when opening.
