It has a water-based formula and absorbs well. Recommended for sensitive and acne-prone skin. Since I don't use cotton pads, and it's a water-based formula, when I dispense it onto my palm, it tends to run and splash in all directions. - sh*****Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJul 6, 2025
It's effective at calming irritated skin and reducing redness. Works wonders for soothing the complexion! The scent is overwhelmingly strong and not to my liking. I'm afraid this might be the end of the line for me with the mugwort range... - de*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedJun 19, 2025
I've been using this for over 3 years now. If they discontinue it, I'll have some words for Missha! Well, I hope they don't renew it anymore. I'd prefer if they just left it as is. The reviewer expresses strong loyalty to this product, having used it consistently for years. They're concerned about potential discontinuation or changes, showing how much they value the current formulation. This sentiment is common among dedicated skincare enthusiasts who find a product that works well for their complexion and skin concerns. - sg****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 7, 2025
I've been using this for about a month now. My skin is super sensitive and prone to blemishes, so I usually can't use just any skincare product. This has a calming effect when my skin feels hot and irritated. I carry it with me and spray it whenever my skin feels dry. Last year, my skin completely flared up and I struggled with blemishes, so I've been extra careful with products. But I'm really satisfied with this one. The mist is so fine that it doesn't cause pilling even over makeup. It absorbs quickly and works great for touch-ups too. When I use it, the mugwort scent makes me crave mugwort rice cakes! The cap opens too easily, so it sometimes comes off in my bag. This is disappointing from a hygiene perspective... Use it frequently without hesitation. Spray when your skin feels dry, spray when it's red. There's no special tip - just always keep it on hand! - ss******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 13, 2025
I repurchased this after a while, and it's still wonderfully hydrating. I'm using it as a toner substitute, and I can feel its soothing effects. It's really great! There's nothing to complain about. I stock up on it during sales and use it regularly. - bm*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2025
Skin type: I have combination skin (oily depending on the season) that's super sensitive. I can't stand products that are too rich - they make my face feel uncomfortable. Texture: It has a clear, water-like consistency. I love that it doesn't have the typical thickness or stickiness of essences. Scent: I couldn't detect any particular fragrance - you might even wonder if there's a scent at all. Ingredients: I think it's gentle enough for even those with sensitive skin to use. Design: It comes in a glass bottle that looks incredibly luxurious, as you can see in the photos. Surprisingly, it's easy to decant into travel containers too! This is a gentle essence. From its texture to its ingredients, it feels reliable to have on hand. When your skin feels tight, you'll notice the effects immediately after applying it. There's not really anything to complain about, but I wish it was a bit more affordable. It seems a bit pricey, though that might be because it's such a good product. My personal pro tip: I usually apply toner twice, then follow with the Mugwort Calming Essence. The texture of this essence is lighter than typical essences, so if you pat it in like you would a toner, it absorbs well and leaves your skin hydrated. Sometimes I even skip toner and just use the Mugwort Calming Essence twice instead. It's a versatile product that can even step in as a toner when you're in a hurry! - cj*****Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 16, 2025
It's gentle. Everyone who's tried it at my place agrees it feels mild on the skin. The entire mugwort line has a rather unique scent... Not recommended if you're sensitive to smells. - ek*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 26, 2025
I've been using this toner for a while now. It's wonderfully hydrating and absorbs well into the skin without any dryness. The scent seems to be a bit polarizing. I don't mind it, but I've noticed that some people around me who've tried it once aren't fans. - ga*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsFeb 21, 2025
The absorption was quick when I gently patted it in. The scent might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I personally enjoyed the forest-like fragrance. I think it could work well for those with combination dehydrated skin too. Initially, I was satisfied and used it well. However, after a few uses, I noticed a slight tingling sensation each time, and my skin texture became rough with small blemishes appearing. Suspecting it might be the cause, I stopped using it for a while, and my skin texture improved. Even though it has only one ingredient and I thought it would be fine, it just goes to show that if a product doesn't suit your skin, it doesn't suit. It's best to consider the possibility of an allergic reaction beforehand.
