This review is based on using the entire product. * Ingredients While it contains PEG, phenoxyethanol, and fragrance, they're in small amounts, so I don't consider the ingredients to be bad. I didn't experience any adverse skin reactions while using it. * Texture It feels like a white, slightly viscous sun milk. There was no white cast, but it did feel a bit rich, leaving a slight sheen on the skin. * Scent It has a subtle hint of Missha's signature sunscreen scent, but it wasn't overpowering. * Convenience I used this product for touch-ups when out and about. The cushion design allowed for even distribution on the puff, making it easy to control the amount. * Price With frequent buy-one-get-one-free promotions, it was reasonably priced compared to other sun cushions. - It's been discontinued, making it difficult to purchase now - Reapplying multiple times can make skin look too oily, requiring the use of blotting papers or powder - The quantity isn't generous, and it tends to dry out quickly, which was disappointing - As with most sun cushions, dust tends to stick to the tension net and puff - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 10, 2020
The cooling effect made it perfect for summer use. I have blemishes in my T-zone, but this worked well for me. The scent was also fairly pleasant. One downside was that dust easily stuck to the puff (though I might not have taken proper care of it). - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 29, 2019
This was a gift, and it feels incredibly refreshing when it touches the skin. It's the kind of product you want to pat on all summer long... And after applying, you get this amazing glow! The quantity is quite small compared to other products, and if you pat it on too much, it can make your skin feel like it's coated in oil... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 4, 2019
- Refreshing cooling effect - Pleasant scent and easy to use - Far from the typical greasy or uncomfortable feel of sunscreens - No eye irritation! - As it's a glow sunscreen, it significantly accentuates skin texture - Skin looks worse with reapplication - Despite being a compact type, it's not actually easy to touch up - Has some oiliness, so it doesn't adhere perfectly to the skin (caution for oily skin types) Great for patting on when you're out and about with a bare face. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 25, 2019
The only good thing I can say is that it's cheap, especially when on sale. But that's because I experienced severe side effects... It caused blemishes on my skin, made me break out in acne, and left my face red and irritated. - sa******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 23, 2019
When first applied, it feels moisturizing with a cooling effect, making it especially great for summer use. It also brightens your complexion, so it's perfect for quick outings when you only have time to apply one product. Those with oily skin might find that it leads to increased oil production over time. Also, while it's somewhat unavoidable with cushion products, the center part runs out first, making it inconvenient to reach the remaining product around the edges. Consider purchasing during buy-one-get-one-free promotions. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 15, 2019
It's moisturizing and has a nice cooling effect. The case is absolutely gorgeous! Plus, they often have buy-one-get-one-free deals. Ugh, are they joking with the contents? The product barely comes out. I'm not sure if I got a defective one, but there's very little inside. The sunscreen looks like chunks of tofu floating in miso soup! So I ended up mixing in some Round Lab Dokdo Emulsion and my holy grail Round Lab 365 Days Sunscreen to create my own Round Lab sun cushion. I'm keeping it because the case is too pretty to waste. If you look at the photo, you'll see the contents aren't sunscreen at all, but more like spoiled tofu chunks. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 22, 2019
As someone with extremely dry skin, I find this applies smoothly and feels more moisturizing compared to others. Best of all, I can apply sunscreen without it sticking to my hands. However, the typical dryness associated with cushion products becomes noticeable in the afternoon. It's hard to gauge how much product is left, and dust tends to collect on the cushion, so I had to clean it after not using it for a few days. - le*********Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedApr 5, 2019
As expected from a cushion, it's great that you can easily reapply. It's really convenient to use in summer when you're not wearing makeup. It feels much lighter than cream-type products. Before this, I bought Missha's tone-up sun cushion, but the scent was too strong so I gave it to a friend. However, this product barely has any fragrance. I'd recommend it to those sensitive to scents. Like all tension-type products, when you've used about 80%, the remaining 20% becomes really inconvenient to use. You almost want to give up and throw away the product left around the edges. The tension net easily collects dust, so even if you wash the puff frequently, it still feels a bit unsanitary. Compared to the tube-type cream from the same line, the cushion feels a bit more fluid and applies more lightly. If you want a lightweight sun protection product, go for the sun cushion. If you prefer a type that gives a noticeable glow, you might want to buy the sun cream instead. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 14, 2019
Highly recommended as a bare-face sun cushion! It applies just like an emulsion - incredibly lightweight, thin, and transparent. Plus, it gives a subtle glow that makes your skin look amazing. Perfect for students who want a fuss-free application at school! If your school doesn't allow sunscreens with white cast, this sun cushion is perfect! Even when I got caught with a white face, I wiped it off with a cleansing tissue and nothing showed up, so I got away with it! (Our school rules are super strict) I recommend this to anyone looking for a lightweight, glowy sun cushion to use before foundation! It's so natural-looking, you can hardly tell you're wearing anything. It won't cause your foundation to pill and allows for a light makeup application. I've tried both Missha sun cushions, and they're the best I've used so far! Highly recommend Missha sun cushions!
