The quantity is generous and the price is incredibly affordable, making it a great value for money. I bought 160ml for 9,800 won with free shipping. I even purchased two and used a coupon, making it even cheaper. I ended up paying only 7,300 won each. It absorbs well into the skin, and most of the particles dissolve and get absorbed, with just one or two exceptions. For those who need extra hydration, you can apply a second layer or mix in a bit of oil. However, since this cream isn't used alone, one application is usually sufficient. The cream itself absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy feeling, so it works well under makeup without causing pilling or sliding. In conclusion, it's a solid, versatile product that's pleasant to use. You can apply it generously as you please. It's a bit concerning that it contains one potentially harmful ingredient and a rather long list of various ingredients. I repurchased this recently, but I noticed the expiration date is the same as the one I bought last year. The expiration date is June 2018... I wish I had only bought one. I regret buying two. I should have read the product details more carefully. - ha*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcneMar 16, 2017 (UTC+0)
Affordable and comes in a huge size with plenty of product. The ingredients seem to be effective. As soon as I applied it, I felt itchy and a burning sensation, like I was scratching mosquito bites. I'm worried about why they packed so many ingredients in there. Couldn't they just make a profit with a few gentle, hydrating ingredients? Buying based on Hwahae reviews can be a disaster. I purchased this after reading reviews for sensitive skin, but alas! My skin really is the boss. It reminds me of the old-fashioned cold creams our moms used to use. The scent and texture are both heavy. It might appeal to moms for nostalgia's sake. - ju*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 11, 2017 (UTC+0)
As someone with dry and sensitive skin, I've been on the hunt for the perfect cream. I've been using this for about 6 months now, on my 3rd bottle? That's like one bottle every 2 months, which is incredibly cost-effective. The hydration is amazing - I wake up with soft, supple skin. Before, no matter what cream I used, my skin would flake and dead skin cells would be visible. But with this, there's no more flaking! My makeup applies beautifully too... I absolutely love it and highly recommend it! It applies a bit heavily and leaves a rich, oily finish, so it might not suit those with oily skin. Strongly recommended for people with dry skin though! Make sure to pat it in instead of rubbing. If you rub it and then apply base makeup, the cream might pill and come off like dead skin. Always pat it in gently! - go********Dry SkinDec 22, 2016 (UTC+0)
It's hydrating and comes in a large size, perfect for generous use. As others have mentioned, the particles don't dissolve easily, so you need to massage it in for a while. Don't apply it before morning makeup. It causes pilling, like dead skin cells... I've tried multiple times with the same result. It's great to use on makeup-free days at home. When your skin feels dry, mix in a drop or two of oil for better results. - ki******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcneApr 14, 2016 (UTC+0)
1. While some moisturizers feel hydrating at first but dry out over time, this one keeps your skin feeling moisturized even hours later. It's not overly rich, making it great for acne-prone skin too! It seems to deeply hydrate the skin rather than just sitting on the surface. 2. The large size... You get a lot of product. I use about a pea-sized amount each time, and after 3 months, I've barely used half. I haven't repurchased yet because I still have so much left, but I'll definitely buy it again when I run out! There are these little beads mixed into the cream that don't burst or spread when applied. So after the cream absorbs, I end up just brushing off a few of these beads that are left stuck to my face. I have very sensitive, acne-prone skin. I've had acne for about 4 years and struggled to find a suitable moisturizer. Even products that others raved about didn't work for me. So I scoured Hwahae, filtering out any moisturizers with even a single negative review from someone with skin like mine, no matter how popular or highly-rated they were. That's how I found this one. The affordable price made me think, 'If it doesn't work, I can always use it as a hand cream,' so I gave it a try. Fortunately, it suits my skin well, and I've been using it ever since. My skin is super sensitive, so I consider a product good if it doesn't cause any blemishes and works without issues. If you're looking for something gentle and effective, I'd recommend giving this cream a try! - sn*****Normal SkinSensitive SkinFeb 1, 2016 (UTC+0)
After using it for over a month, I can confidently say it's better than most imported products. Since I'm used to pump dispensers, I find opening and closing this product a bit inconvenient. - hi*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcneJan 5, 2016 (UTC+0)
The absorbs well and keeps skin hydrated for a long time. I was worried because I have oily skin and it seemed rich, but over time it actually feels more moisturizing. It does have some oil content, so I'm using it as a night cream rather than a day cream. The price is great too - I bought two jars for just $16. The little granules in the cream can be a bit bothersome. They dissolve if you rub them well, but you always seem to find one stuck between your fingers while applying. Also, the texture is more solid than I expected, so it didn't work as well as a hydrating moisturizer like I had hoped. Rather than layering multiple products, it seems to absorb better when applied right after cleansing or over just a simple moisturizer. - gp***Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcneDec 22, 2015 (UTC+0)
I've used this for two winters now, and it's truly amazing in cold weather. I used to think all creams lasted all day when applied like this, but that wasn't the case with others! This one keeps my skin hydrated without feeling greasy! It's fantastic. Plus, even though I have super sensitive skin, this works well for me! The granules feel strange when applying; I'm still not sure if the outer layer absorbs into the skin or not. Sometimes I just apply this alone before bed, and it works great! - th****Dry SkinAtopic SkinJun 29, 2015 (UTC+0)
I've been using this cream for a year now, and I really like it. I have very dry skin, and when I apply it before bed, I wake up with a noticeably brighter complexion - perhaps due to its whitening effect. It suits my skin well. I'm quite particular about ingredients when choosing skincare products, so regardless of price, I always scrutinize the formulation before purchasing. If I had to point out a downside to the King Kong Cream, it would be the texture of the particles. It doesn't spread easily. You need to press it firmly with your hands to get it to apply evenly. At night, I apply it generously like a mask, covering my face with a thick white layer. The generous amount allows me to use it liberally.
