This product really stands out from other coverage options. Not only does it provide great coverage, but it maintains a soft, matte finish over time rather than becoming overly dewy. It gives your skin a smooth appearance, like you've applied powder, but without the dryness. I've tried three other products, but I've come back to this one and stocked up on two more. Who knows when I'll use them all up! Those who prefer a bit of a glow might be disappointed. It's also a shame that it doesn't come with a refill option. It doesn't dry out or emphasize the areas around the sides of your nose. - cd*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedNov 20, 2019
Skin type: Combination dehydrated (dry in fall/winter) I've been using Black Hera, but it's been too dry lately. So I found this cushion while looking for something more hydrating. 1. Medium coverage 2. I bought it because the Yok serum really suits me, and it's cutely incorporated in the center! 3. Suitable for fall and winter use. It helps control excess oil. 1. It's more matte than expected, though not as much as Hera. It's still okay. 2. It works best when applied after the Yok serum. Make sure to hydrate your skin well beforehand. 1. I think it works best when used with the Yok serum and Origin cream. It really makes you want to buy the whole line! 2. I have a medium skin tone, and shade 21 works fine for me. It's not too light. - li*******Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityAug 5, 2019
I have dry skin with a shade 22 complexion and some small pores, with a few larger ones on my nose and cheeks. This cushion was a gift. I was curious about Nacific's Bath Serum since it's popular, and I expected this to be hydrating because it contains serum. The pill-like design on the sponge is cute. A little goes a long way for face coverage, so it won't run out quickly. 1. Dryness and pilling Despite containing serum, it's extremely drying and emphasizes dead skin cells terribly (the pilling is awful...). I used it in April and found it too dry, but even now in mid-summer (July-August), it's still drying! It seems more suitable for oily skin types, but oddly enough, while it makes the skin look dry, it applies thinly and feels sticky on the face. Those with oily skin might dislike this. 2. Staying power Well... I have dry skin, so most foundations last about 4-5 hours (for semi-matte finishes), but this one starts darkening after just 2 hours. After applying makeup and eating, I looked in the mirror to find my face had become dull... yikes. 3. Color It's quite yellow, and the pill design on the sponge is even more yellow, making the overall tone too yellow. It's shade 21, which seems natural for that shade. For me, being shade 22, it brightens my complexion nicely. However, as mentioned earlier, the darkening is severe - right after application it looks bright, but after 2 hours, my face looks as tired and dull as someone who's exhausted. 4. Coverage Many people say it has good coverage, but honestly, I'm not sure. It makes my skin look messier, so it's hard to gauge the coverage. It seems to cover redness well, but doesn't do much for blemishes or dullness. Maybe it's because of the strong yellow undertone. I don't have much redness in summer, so I can't comment on that coverage. 5. Pore emphasis ...The most surprising thing is how it emphasizes pores!!!! I was really shocked. While I do have some pores, they're generally small, with just a few larger ones on my nose and cheeks. First of all, it doesn't cover the larger pores at all, and while it does cover the smaller pores, it actually makes them more noticeable...; *Overall assessment* A cushion that's awkward for both oily and dry skin types? Dry skin types won't be able to use it due to the dryness. Oily skin types probably won't like the strange feeling of a matte, powdery finish that feels sticky to the touch, along with how it emphasizes pores. It feels like they made a cushion that's neither here nor there... I wonder who their target audience was. I only use it for quick trips near home. After August, it'll be too dry to use, so I plan to just throw it away after August. At 35,000 won for this... if I had paid for it myself, I would have really regretted the money spent. - aa******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 15, 2019
This product is fantastic for my skin that tends to get flaky. It provides excellent coverage and has a hydrating effect, preventing any flakiness. The coverage seems to last even with prolonged use. I also appreciate that the tone isn't too light or too dark - it's just right. The downside is that it's a standalone product without refill options, so you have to buy the whole thing again when you run out. There are sales, but it often sells out quickly. Also, for severe blemishes, you'll still need to use a concealer. I hope people don't buy this expecting it to completely cover acne based on the ads. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 16, 2019
Despite having some redness and blemishes on my face, the coverage wasn't bad at all. I've used Nacific skincare products before, so when I heard about their cushion foundation, I decided to give it a try since my current one was running out. The ads claimed it had essence in the center for hydration and good coverage. However, it seems it didn't suit my skin. After applying, my skin felt even drier, and my makeup started pilling. This wasn't an issue with my previous cushions. Unfortunately, this cushion foundation didn't impress me much. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 27, 2019
The coverage is better compared to other cushion foundations. That's the one good thing about it, sadly. As a result, it feels heavy on the skin. It's quite challenging to touch up during the day. It has a yellowish undertone, so mixing it with another foundation works well. - 72******Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedMar 19, 2019
As someone in their mid-30s with combination dehydrated skin prone to deep dryness, I prioritize longevity over coverage and need products that won't cause blemishes due to my super sensitive skin. I've been loyal to a specific brand for years, but after trying the 'Yoke Serum,' I fell in love. I switched to Natural Pacific Origins skin and serum, and when this cushion was released, I immediately purchased it. First off, the coverage is top-notch. I was worried about longevity since I skipped other products, but it lasts surprisingly well. Most importantly, it doesn't cause any blemishes. It makes my skin texture look great! I was hoping for a cushion that would hydrate while smoothing out my skin texture, but this one is more matte with good coverage. It's not quite the cushion I was looking for. If you have dry skin prone to deep dryness like me, make sure to build a solid skincare base and apply this cushion thinly, adjusting the amount as needed. - su********Dry SkinSensitive SkinMar 8, 2019
The coverage is excellent. It's the best cushion I've used so far. However, it does make the makeup look thicker as a result. Personally, I'm not a fan of heavy makeup... The application is smooth and it absorbs well. That's about all the positives. While I usually prefer products with good coverage, I don't like how this makes my face look puffy. While the coverage is very good, you need to control the amount. If you apply it like a regular cushion, you'll end up with kabuki-style makeup. It creates such a thick layer that it doesn't suit me personally. Even after applying a solid base and then the cushion, by afternoon it gets very smudgy and reveals all the blemishes around my nose... It wasn't for me. I can't just throw away a cushion I've already bought... So here's how I'm using it. After applying my usual Estée Lauder foundation, I use this cushion like a concealer, dabbing it only on areas I want to cover, especially around my cheeks. By using just a small amount, the makeup doesn't become too thick. - 0_*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinMar 5, 2019
I haven't tried many products, but I found the little bath serum illustration inside the compact quite adorable. I heard great things about the bath serum, so I decided to try this cushion version. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. I have combination skin that gets oily in the T-zone, and generally, most cosmetics work fine for me. However, this product caused a breakout of tiny blemishes all over my face. They claim it has good staying power, but after about 2 hours, it settles into my pores, looking messy and unkempt. Despite applying a thorough skincare routine beforehand, thinking it might be too drying, my face still felt like it was going to crack. I won't be using this again. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 23, 2019
At first, I was amazed by how well it absorbs! And then, wow, the inner texture! That's all I have to say! I bought this without checking Hwahae first, and it turns out there are more than 5 ingredients that aren't great. Is this why I'm having issues? First off, I thought this would be hydrating, but it's actually quite matte. It starts to feel powdery and then dry. I tried it on my sister's recommendation, but maybe because I have super sensitive skin, after a while, especially on my cheeks, it feels itchy and I get tiny bumps. Some people say it has good staying power, but in my personal opinion... well... I think it's a bit weak.
