I bought this a while ago as a base lip color, but I find myself wearing it on its own quite often! It's a beige-brick shade with a terracotta feel, perfect for warm-toned beauties in autumn. The color payoff is impressive with just one swipe, and it absorbs well with a smooth application. There's a noticeable artificial chocolate scent, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're sensitive to fragrances. Also, it's a bit dark for a base lip color, so make sure to check the actual swatch before purchasing! - el*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 22, 2022
From top to bottom in the photo, we have All Yours, Surrender, Morocco, and Dolce Vita. The first image shows application using the tip, while the second shows finger blending. It's a soft beige-brown with a hint of rosiness, creating an atmospheric color without looking dull. The texture is fascinating - it applies smoothly with an initial creamy, glossy finish, but transforms into a velvety, powdery feel when blended. The color is beautifully subdued yet not lackluster, allowing for versatile looks depending on how you build the intensity. The case... Ugh... The signature Nars velvety texture means fingerprints show up way too easily on the black parts. Frustrating! The easy blendability makes it great for mixing and matching colors. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 29, 2022
I bought this thinking it would be perfect as a base color, but it turned out to be darker and more intense than I expected. However, it looks bright under light and applies nicely. It's versatile enough to wear on its own. Just keep in mind it suits those with warm undertones best. The texture is powdery and fluffy, which makes it prone to transferring. You can achieve a nice gradient effect by patting and blending it, but be careful - it tends to get on your teeth. I wouldn't recommend applying it to the inner part of your lips. Also, it can pill slightly if you layer it too much. It's best to let it dry a bit before reapplying. I've included a comparison with Rouge Control in the fifth photo for reference.
