Perfect for winter cool undertones. Great for summer use too. It's a calm orange-red shade with just a hint of brown. The magnetic closure makes it easy to open and close. Occasionally, there are defects in the magnetic case (but exchanges are possible). As it's a matte lipstick, it tends to be on the drier side. It comes off quite a bit after eating, and may transfer onto masks. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 19, 2020
The staying power was absolutely fantastic!! The color is truly beautiful and perfect for warm autumn skin tones - it's the ideal lip color for me. Plus, being a mini size, there's no risk of it expiring before I use it up. If you have even the slightest bit of dead skin cells on your lips, it tends to accentuate them more noticeably.. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedMay 10, 2020
The color payoff is truly amazing, the shades are so pretty, and it even smells lovely! It fades a bit quickly... But aside from that, everything else is great! - rk*******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedApr 17, 2020
I loved the scent and the beautiful design. It applies smoothly, and the color intensifies to a lovely orange hue as you layer it. It starts off semi-matte, but settles into a nice matte finish over time, which I quite like. Unfortunately, it can accentuate dead skin cells if you don't use a lip balm first. Also, it leaves a pink stain. Other than that, everything else is fine. I'd recommend applying a lip care product like a lip balm before using this. - ru*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedOct 25, 2019
1. Gorgeous color for orange enthusiasts 2. Applies smoothly with great pigmentation 3. Pleasant scent 4. Seems to have good durability (wink) 5. Discounted price: 12,000 ------------- As an orange beauty junkie, I adore red-orange, coral-orange, and vibrant orange shades. I've tried countless orange lipsticks. Recently, I had settled on two favorites: MAC Lady Danger (repurchased 3 times) and J.ESTINA Brilliant Red (repurchased twice). That is, until J.ESTINA was discontinued... heartbreaking! Anyway, this product has a similar color to the J.ESTINA one. I bought it because the case seemed sturdy and had a protective inner lining for the lipstick. However, it's not as brick-toned as advertised. While brick shades don't suit me well, those who love brick colors might find this disappointing! The scent is delightful, reminiscent of the Nivea lip balms I used in middle school. It's so yummy! Unlike MAC lipsticks, which smell too sweet, like crayons. I got it on sale at the store for 3,000 won less! Great value for money. 1. Wears off in the center 2. Slight emphasis on dead skin cells 3. Design is meh ----------------- It transfers a lot when drinking water or using cups, haha! But it stays decent on the lips for about 3-4 sips. Just average lipstick longevity... It remains on your lips after eating, but doesn't transfer to spoons. If you want something long-lasting, you might need to look for a tint. Any recommendations for super long-lasting ones? It doesn't emphasize dead skin cells as much as MAC lipsticks. It's not severe, but just a tad noticeable? Best to apply after using lip balm overnight. The packaging is quite round and chubby, taking up a lot of space in your makeup pouch. It feels a bit over-packaged, as the actual product amount isn't that much. Still, if you drop it, it probably won't break in half catastrophically like the J.ESTINA one. -------- Overall, I'm satisfied with the value! No regrets about buying it! I'll use it up completely. But I don't think I'll settle on this as my go-to lipstick! The pleasant scent puts me in a good mood. It's worth trying and having one in your collection. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 16, 2019
As someone with a muted autumn complexion and deep undertone, this shade is an absolute perfect match! It complements my skin tone beautifully. I really wish there were more lip tints in this color range... Unfortunately, the staying power is quite poor. I find myself touching up every 30 minutes or so. The color is truly lovely, and the ingredients are good, but I might have to use this more as a blush instead. Highly recommended for those with muted autumn or warm autumn complexions! For better longevity, try using it with a makeup fixer or a setting powder like the Too Cool For School one. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 8, 2019
First off, it glides on incredibly smoothly. And the color is absolutely gorgeous! It did emphasize dead skin cells a bit! Initially, it had a nice matte finish, but as time passed, it became increasingly drying. Apply lip balm before using this product! - po*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 4, 2019
This lipstick brightens your face with a deep undertone, giving you a radiant look. The texture and product design are luxurious, and it feels great in your hand, fitting comfortably. In summer, I always find myself reaching for this product when doing my makeup. The staying power is a bit disappointing. After eating, it wears off unattractively from the center of the lips. If you eat enthusiastically, it comes off completely. Also, because the color is so precise, it doesn't blend easily at the edges when applied, so it's not a lipstick you can quickly swipe on when you're in a hurry. It requires careful application. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 14, 2019
Even a passing dog could tell this had a deep undertone, so when they called it 'brick', I had to try it. It's not as autumnal as I expected, and while I thought it would be an incredibly deep orange, it's not quite that either. But the color is truly beautiful... absolutely gorgeous... It tends to get on your teeth a bit. And it's not matte at all. It's somewhere between moisturizing and matte... even calling it semi-matte would be a stretch. - jg*********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 5, 2019
It's a deep undertone shade! Perfect for strong~deep tones, and muted tones can use it as a beige or deep full lip. 1. Texture, Scent & Application True to its matte lipstick nature, it's quite matte. It might be challenging to apply on slightly dry lips. For best results, apply some Vaseline or lip balm, blot with a tissue, then apply the lipstick. The scent is berry-like, maybe raspberry? It's like a sweet and sour berry candy smell. 2. Color This color... while not exactly my strike zone, it's definitely a pretty shade that's at least a base hit! It's a brick orange, and I think they really nailed the name. Depending on the lighting, it looks like a toned-down orange or an orange with a hint of brown. It also gives off a calm red-orange vibe. I'm going to make a little prediction that it would suit fall strong or deep undertones! 3. Wrinkle Emphasis For a matte lipstick, it doesn't emphasize wrinkles much. Um... I'm pretty sure that's right...? Dead skin cell emphasis. I can say this with certainty. It doesn't emphasize them when you first apply it precisely, but maybe because it's matte, it dries quickly and dead skin cells become visible. On days you wear this, you might want to consider carrying a moisturizing lip product with you... just saying! Honestly, Nature Republic isn't particularly famous or known for having many great products, but their lips are truly a hidden gem. They really nail beautiful colors by the book, but it's sad that people only seem to know about their brick red (tint)...
