I can feel my skin texture improving. After finishing the product and waiting for a new order, I notice changes in my skin. It has a vinegar scent. Right after applying, when I walk around the house, I can smell the vinegar odor coming from my face. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 7, 2023
I absolutely love this stuff... I can't quite put my finger on why, but it's just great. With consistent use, it seems to keep those pesky little skin concerns at bay. If you apply too much, it can sometimes feel itchy or tingly. However, it's tricky to apply just a small, even amount. It absorbs so quickly that you might think, 'Wait, did I even put it on?' and end up applying more. If it suits your skin well, the secret is to use it generously every day... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 30, 2020
It completely tackles my dehydrated skin. As someone with super sensitive skin, I wake up looking like a different person on days with high pollution. Since I stopped getting ultrasonic treatments, this is the only cosmetic product that's managed to address my deep dryness. It works hard for my skin! While many people find the dropper disappointing, I've gotten used to it and it's fine for me. In fact, I'd miss it if it wasn't there - that's how accustomed I've become to it. When using the dropper, I hold it very close to my forehead and release one drop at a time. I let it trickle down to my chin, then spread it over my face. This method absorbs well for me. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 19, 2020
It's lightweight and absorbs quickly. Seems to help improve skin texture. The quantity is a bit disappointing for the price. The scent might be hit or miss for some people. - mi******Combination SkinRecommendedJun 24, 2020
As I entered my 30s, I encountered hormonal blemishes for the first time in my life, and this product along with MMHC has been incredibly effective for me. While my blemishes aren't severe (usually 5-6 or fewer around the chin area, coming and going), applying this generously day and night during my menstrual cycle or blemish-prone periods has noticeably accelerated the healing of blemish scars. I believe it's due to its excellent regenerative properties! However, I recommend establishing a simple yet gentle skincare routine that addresses the root causes of hormonal blemishes (like oil and moisture balance, dehydration, etc.) before trying this product. The price is a bit steep. Also, when mixing the two chemical components that come together, if the color doesn't turn blue, it means the product has oxidized and you should return it! As recommended by The Ordinary, this pairs well with MMHC (for hydration). After cleansing and toning, first allow CAIS to absorb, then follow with MMHC. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 15, 2020
I consistently used this product along with The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid for about 3 bottles to improve my pores. I applied it right after cleansing to ensure better absorption, and it significantly improved my dry skin condition. I used to always struggle with deep dryness in winter, but this winter I didn't experience it at all. I'm so satisfied that I think it's all thanks to The Ordinary. The price is quite steep. I'm not one to use products sparingly, so I apply it generously on my face. Even when using it only at night, the 90,000 won product runs out quickly. Due to the price burden, I'm unable to use it currently. I think it's best to use this right after cleansing. The texture is very watery and you can feel it absorbing quickly, so using it after other products might actually hinder its absorption. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 8, 2019
My face looks noticeably brighter overall, and I feel like my skin is healthier from the inside out! The price seems a bit steep, and the scent isn't particularly pleasant. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinDec 2, 2019
The rapid absorption was the best feature! The color is absolutely gorgeous... The scent is really off-putting and it's quite expensive... The volume is disappointing.. It's awesome to search for copper peptide online and purchase it for use... - cp*****Combination SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 16, 2019
Of all the skincare products I've tried that claim to improve skin texture, reduce blemishes, and strengthen the skin barrier, this one has given me the best results. It feels like I'm applying something beyond just a cosmetic product! I've been using it for about ten days, and the effects are so noticeable that a colleague at work spontaneously commented on how much better my skin looks, even before I put on makeup. I can genuinely feel the difference myself - it's not just wishful thinking. My skin feels more resilient, and the pigmentation on my cheeks has visibly faded. I'm so impressed that I just ordered another bottle before writing this review! As others have mentioned, The Ordinary's instructions say to apply this product first after cleansing, before other products. They've also personally advised that using strong exfoliating products might reduce its effectiveness. This makes me hesitate when layering other products - am I doing it right? Since it contains unique ingredients and has been so effective for me, I worry about potentially negating its benefits by using other products. I wish they would clearly specify which ingredients to avoid. My skin type requires regular sebum control, so before using this, I was using a high-concentration AHA product about three times a week. Now I've stopped using that while on this product, but I really need more precise guidance on what's safe to use alongside it. Here's a pro tip: stick with the 15ml size! Even though there's a larger 30ml option available, I think there might be a reason they offer the smaller size. I've decided to repurchase the 15ml for my next bottle too. - de******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 10, 2019
It absorbs incredibly fast! And surprisingly, it didn't cause any major skin reactions. While it wasn't a huge issue, the product comes in two separate bottles. You're supposed to mix them at home, which can be messy and inconvenient. The scent is a mild vinegar smell... it does dissipate after a while, but it's not particularly pleasant. After using it for two weeks, I didn't see any significant effects on my skin. Later on, I noticed small bumps appearing on my skin. Turns out I'm sensitive to peptides too! When a product doesn't agree with my skin, I tend to develop seborrheic dermatitis with small bumps, and this product caused a mild version of that reaction. My skin condition isn't severe, but I have seborrheic dermatitis + extremely dry skin that's very thin and prone to redness. I'm particularly sensitive to pore-clogging silicones and fermented ingredients. Unfortunately, this product didn't work for me either.
