There's a lot of talk about it being an oil cleanser, but while it does function that way, it's really just a non-foaming face cleanser. As a guy who doesn't wear makeup, I bought this due to stress from other cleansers, and I'm very satisfied. I have combination, super sensitive skin with blemishes and various other skin issues, and I usually dislike the slippery feeling on my face. However, this product has managed to tackle most skin problems like redness, blemishes, and oiliness. You need to use it on a dry face, which has completely changed my shower routine. There are some inconveniences. - di*******Dry SkinAcne SkinMar 30, 2019
Effectively removes makeup. Just a few swipes can take off most matte foundations. Price, texture, residue after rinsing, and blemishes are issues. 1. Price: While Niod positions itself as high-end and invests in various formulation technologies, it scores zero in terms of cosmetic elegance. 2. Texture feels very waxy. It spreads widely but feels like it's forming a film. Uncomfortable. 3. King of residue. Although the formula claims to draw skincare products applied on top into the skin, it doesn't matter - the residue is so intense it's unusable. 4. Caused severe blemishes. As a product using various oils, if it remains on the skin, the probability of blemishes increases exponentially. Those with oily or blemish-prone skin should avoid. Most Korean oil cleansers and cleansing balms are designed to emulsify and rinse off completely and cleanly. While leave-on cleansers might be common overseas, this type of product is unlikely to succeed in the domestic market. - su*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 7, 2018
L.V.C.E = M.A.G.I.C.A.L - A product that feels like butter when mixed with water on your face - This makeup cleanser is truly a remarkable product. It feels just like an oil cleanser. The slippery texture reminds me of an oil-based cleanser, but compared to Manyo Factory's oil cleanser, the texture is much thinner. In fact, it's so thin that it drips from your hands like water. It works wonderfully as an oil cleanser. This product can remove foundation, lipstick, and sunscreen. (One of the photos shows lipstick being removed and bits of sunscreen being wiped away.) Thanks to its minimal formula, it doesn't irritate the skin. It really does protect the moisture barrier as the company claims. As you continue to massage the product on your face, the foundation gradually comes off. The color and brightness of the foundation slowly fade, revealing your natural skin underneath. When you follow up with a cleansing gel, your skin feels incredibly clean. There's no tight feeling at all. This product makes my skin happy. For these reasons, I can confidently say this product works! x As an "oil cleanser," this product is quite expensive. x Unlike Manyo Factory's oil cleanser, the cleansing effect of this one is less noticeable. While it doesn't contain any acne-causing oils, this product alone doesn't leave the skin completely clean. Preferred usage method: (On days with foundation) - Cleansing wipe > LVCE > Cleansing gel > Skincare (On days without foundation) - LVCE > Cleansing gel > Skincare Moisture barrier protection team: [Naode]'s LVCE + [Bioderma]'s Sensibio Gel Moussant Cleansing Gel Want a preview of upcoming reviews and other information? * Skin condition: Dry, combination, slightly sensitive, with whiteheads (Overall tightness after cleansing, T-zone gets oily while U-zone feels dry or comfortable after applying skincare products and moving around, occasional irritation from products with strong ingredients, and frequent whiteheads in the T-zone) 1. Ingredients As someone who considers brand philosophy and image important, I personally trust NIOD (Non-Invasive Options in Dermal Science) from Canada. It wasn't irritating during use, and after discovering Hwahae and researching, I found the ingredients to be quite gentle as expected. 2. Scent There might be some initial aversion to the slightly pungent scent, but since it's a cleanser, it's not a major concern. 3. Texture True to its 'Low Viscosity' claim, it has a colorless texture that's neither water nor oil-like. It applies smoothly and lightly. 4. Cleansing effectiveness The decisive reason for choosing this product was the description stating: [It can break down even the most resistant forms of UV filters used in skincare and sun care today. As UV blocking technology is difficult to completely remove from the skin, this ester is specifically conditioned to purify the skin and pores for this purpose.] I thought, 'If it can completely break down sunscreen, that says it all.' While it's hard to objectively verify, amazingly, makeup dissolves as soon as it touches the skin. I usually wear sunscreen, foundation, eyebrow product, and lipstick, and it removes them easily and cleanly with gentle massage. It seems likely to be true, so I confidently apply my usual amount of sunscreen. 5. Post-cleansing Due to its oil-like texture, it doesn't leave a squeaky clean feeling. Instead, it's not drying. However, since this product is meant for removing makeup as a first cleanser, this aspect isn't crucial, and individuals can choose a second cleanser based on their skin type and preferences. The large size makes it inconvenient to carry. (Nevertheless, I always pack it when traveling because I feel uneasy without it) Until now, I hadn't found a 'holy grail' product among all the ones I've used (including skincare, makeup, etc.). This product is my first holy grail, and I'm using it for the fourth time! (I even love the sleek packaging)
