I ordered this to layer over my emulsion since my skin was feeling dry. The small size makes it hygienic and easy to use. While I appreciated the compact size, the lid was a bit tricky to open. Mixing a drop with your cushion or foundation creates a natural glow that makes your skin look incredibly clean. That's why I used it up so quickly! When applied directly to the face, it dries out quickly and even seems to cause blemishes to appear, making it difficult to use on the face alone. The small bottle of oil they sent as a gift would be convenient to carry around. As someone with atopic skin, when I applied it before bed, my atopic symptoms flared up significantly the next day. Lately, my skin has been extremely dry, and for some reason, I've been getting a lot of whiteheads. I've tried many face oils, but this time I discovered how great jojoba oil is. The fact that it's a vegan oil is also a plus. The design and packaging are so beautifully done that I felt happy just opening it. Some people might consider it a drawback that it feels lighter than typical oils. It might not suit those who prefer the characteristic rich feel of oils. While the face oils I've used before spread smoothly with a slick texture, this one feels thicker and has a slightly rougher texture. In cooler temperatures, it may solidify and turn white, but it easily melts with body heat, so you can warm it up in your hands before use! This oil absorbs well, resulting in minimal shine. Any residue on your hands can be applied to the back of your hand, absorbing almost completely, eliminating the need to rewash. It gives the skin a healthy appearance. Especially in dry winters, when you typically need to seal in moisture with oil after applying a hydrating cream, this product absorbs well even when applied immediately after your moisturizer. As someone who dislikes fragranced products, I found this pleasant to use without any aversion. I was really unsure how to use this one, but I discovered that if you massage it into your face like a regular cleansing oil, it removes dead skin cells and sebum! While it doesn't have strong cleansing effectiveness, it leaves your skin incredibly soft. I followed up with a gentle cleansing foam afterward. I highly recommend this method for those with combination dehydrated skin! Since it's just an oil, using it as described above does leave quite a bit of oil on your face. Since I don't get along well with oil-based products, I gave this to my mom for the winter. She absolutely loves it and prefers it over more expensive jojoba oils from other brands! She mainly applies it to particularly dry areas rather than all over her face. My mom rarely wears makeup, just occasionally using cushion foundation, but she raves about how amazing this oil is when mixed with her base. Inspired by her enthusiasm, I decided to try mixing it with my makeup, and I must say, it works wonderfully as a multi-purpose oil! I typically prefer a matte or at least semi-matte finish year-round, but winter can be really harsh on the skin. When I mix this oil in, it gives such a beautiful glow! I used to shy away from dewy looks because they seemed too shiny, but this product creates a natural, bare-skin-like radiance. Now I use it when I'm going for a light makeup look or when my foundation starts to look cakey. It's become my go-to for those situations! It seems to work best as a multi-purpose oil rather than a standalone skincare product. I don't think it provides enough benefits to be used as a primary moisturizer. My mom usually applies her final skincare step all over her face to lock in moisture, but she doesn't use this product that way. Mixing this with your makeup is absolutely fantastic! It creates such a natural, beautiful glow. I was at my wit's end with my makeup looking cakey, but when I mixed this in as a last resort, it was a game-changer!

It maintained its moisturizing effect even after absorption, without feeling like it was sitting on top of my skin. I was extremely satisfied using this product. While there weren't any particular drawbacks, the texture felt a bit light for areas that needed intensive hydration. It's also great for dissolving whiteheads when you roll it around your nose area during cleansing!
