On days when I'm not wearing heavy makeup, this cleanser does a great job. Despite having dry skin, I was surprised that this soap-based cleanser didn't leave my skin feeling tight. It's specifically designed for blemish-prone skin, so it's quite gentle. Being a bar soap, it's a bit inconvenient to use compared to other formats. I found myself thinking it would have been easier if it were a gel or foam that I could just pump out. For best results, work up a rich lather before cleansing. It works wonders that way!
