It was my first time trying an emulsion-type cleanser, and initially I wasn't used to it, so I didn't reach for it often. Once I got accustomed to it, I used it morning and night. On days when I craved a foamy cleanse, I'd switch to a gel or foam cleanser. There was a slight burning sensation, but it was gentle overall, and I managed to finish the entire bottle. There's nothing to complain about. Absolutely nothing to be disappointed with... - ci*****Normal SkinOct 12, 2020
Hydration: The texture is like a flowing emulsion. It didn't irritate my normal skin, though on sensitive days I felt a slight warmth. No blemishes appeared. After cleansing my face, there was zero tightness and the hydration was maintained. Ingredients: While Physiogel isn't natural, it uses non-irritating ingredients, so you can use it with peace of mind. This product is the same. Packaging: The pump dispenser is hygienic. Cleansing effectiveness: My makeup routine varies drastically. On minimal days, I only use sunscreen, while on full-glam days I do liner, mascara, and a full face. It doesn't remove color cosmetics or foundation well. Even with just cushion foundation, I had to re-cleanse after seeing residue on my toner pad. For full makeup, I use makeup remover, then Physiogel cleanser, then foam cleanser. However, for color cosmetics, I find cleansing water more effective than the Physiogel cleanser, so I use that. I mainly use this product on days when I wear minimal makeup. After using this, I wipe with a cotton pad and then rinse with water. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 15, 2019
I loved how gentle it was and how easily it removed makeup. My dermatologist recommended using a cleansing emulsion or milk instead of oil, so I decided to give this product a try. When applying it to my face and cleansing, I experienced a slight burning sensation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 6, 2019
Great for dry skin! It's gentle and not too harsh. The only downside might be that you need to use a cotton pad to wipe it off. I have skin prone to small bumps, and this seemed to work best for me. There's not really anything negative to say. The scent isn't strong. The only slight inconvenience is needing cotton pads and having to wipe it off. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJun 7, 2019
Unlike other cleansers that seemed to irritate my skin, this one felt gentle and non-irritating, which I really appreciated. While it's gentle, I'm not sure if it's effectively removing my makeup. That's why I always follow up with a second cleanser. When I use this one alone, I still find traces of makeup coming off... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 30, 2019
I loved that it caused almost no irritation and didn't leave my skin feeling dry! However, if you want to use this product to remove makeup, you'll definitely need a water or oil cleanser first. I didn't feel like it cleaned my face thoroughly, which was disappointing. - fu*********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsApr 26, 2019
Seeing a product with such great reviews really reinforces the idea that every product's effectiveness can vary from person to person. However, I find the cleansing effectiveness to be quite disappointing. I bought this for its good ingredients, but I can't tell if it's actually cleansing my skin at all. After trying this, I realized that for cleansing, it might be better to use products with stronger cleansing agents, even if they're just average in other aspects. Naturally, I stopped using it, and now I feel bad that it expired before I could finish it. It seems like residue remains even after cleansing with this. Considering the price-to-performance ratio, I almost feel like wiping my face with a damp cotton pad would be more effective! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 21, 2019
I definitely felt like it cleansed without irritating my skin, and it's so gentle! I only used cotton pads to gently wipe off point makeup, and surprisingly, it even removed my mascara quite effectively! Even after rinsing with water, my skin felt incredibly hydrated without any deep dryness. It's perfect for my super sensitive, extremely dry skin! I think I might need to stock up on this when it's on sale... Rubbing your entire face with a cotton pad can be really irritating. That's why I only use cotton pads for removing point makeup. Also, be careful - it stings terribly if it gets in your eyes! I found that finishing with a water rinse is definitely less irritating and better than using cotton pads alone! - hy*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinApr 21, 2019
Among cleansing emulsions, this product had the gentlest ingredients. It doesn't come off easily even with a cotton pad... You need to be thorough when removing it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 19, 2019
The biggest advantage seems to be how gently it removes makeup. I use this when I've only applied base makeup and don't feel like using cleansing oil. There's a slight burning sensation as soon as it touches my face. I'm worried this chemical reaction might be a bit irritating to the skin.
