It absorbs incredibly fast. The texture is like a watery gel. I bought this because it was supposed to be good for soothing blemishes, but I haven't really seen any results. The packaging is inconvenient to use, and since it's not very effective, I can't recommend it. - pj*******Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMay 30, 2025
Acne-prone folks, this is a must-have. Especially for those dealing with lots of tiny bumps. Apply it as your first skincare step daily, covering your entire face, then lock in moisture. Your blemishes will be history. For cystic acne, best to consult a dermatologist. There's a slight burning sensation when you first apply it. But it's all-natural ingredients with no harsh chemicals, so it's just the feeling - I've never experienced actual skin irritation. I never skip a day using this. My pregnant friend even got the green light from her doctor to use it. - qh******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 9, 2025
I've been using this for a year, and whenever blemishes pop up, I apply it right after cleansing. The formula is quite thin, so it feels like it won't absorb if not applied first. I found it's better to spot-treat rather than applying it all over the face. It doesn't make blemishes disappear instantly, but with consistent use for a few days, they gradually subside. The scent was off-putting. It had a strange, herbal-like smell... You can use a cotton swab or your fingertip to apply it directly to blemish-prone areas. - so********Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 8, 2025
The liquid feels just like water, so you can really feel how well it absorbs. I've struggled with blemishes since middle school, but after using this, I definitely noticed a reduction in my breakouts. If I had to recommend one product to people dealing with acne, it would absolutely be this one! While it might seem pricey, it's great to buy when it's on sale on the official website. I'm honestly on my 6th bottle of this product! The scent isn't great, to be honest. It's not a strange smell, but there's a strong alcohol scent. There's also a strong herbal kind of smell. However, the scent disappears really quickly once you apply it. Just hold your breath while applying... otherwise you might end up coughing! I use it like a toner after cleansing in the morning, and again in the evening after washing my face, applying it to acne-prone areas! You can use a cotton swab to apply it, but that feels a bit tedious and wasteful, so I just pour a little bit directly onto my skin. - db*******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJan 12, 2025
Apply frequently until bedtime for pustular acne. Without squeezing, it falls off like a scab (2 days). No effect on whiteheads, as expected, but helps soothe redness after extraction (2 days). Works well on large, painful emerging blemishes - they subside overnight (1 day). I love the sweet, herbal scent. It contains alcohol, so it evaporates quickly leaving no residue, yet it doesn't dry out the skin. It stings on extracted areas, but it feels like it's disinfecting, so that's okay. The amount is too small and it feels a bit pricey, but I always come back to this after trying other products. After evening cleansing, apply it, then reapply while using your phone, and once more before bed. Before you know it, the blemishes are gone. I just slather it on generously. It's still not irritating for me, which is great. - ji******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 30, 2024
I won't mince words - just buy it, please buy it, buy more, buy it again. This is my holy grail. While everyone raves about tea tree oil or pharmacy products for acne, this worked best for me. This and the SOS from the same brand are top-notch. I applied this before bed and the SOS frequently throughout the day. Result? All inflammatory blemishes and tiny bumps vanished. It seems particularly effective on pustules. I've been using SOS for 6 years, emptying over 20 bottles. This one's pricier and rarely on sale, so I've only gone through 9 bottles in 6 years. Bottom line: It annihilates acne, goodbye blemishes (individual results may vary). The scent? I love this herbal aroma, so it didn't bother me - I actually enjoyed it. But like the SOS, it stings terribly. When applying, you need to brace yourself for the intense tingling that makes you want to bite your tongue. The packaging is awful too. Please change it! I've definitely tapped it, but when I turn it over, product leaks out the sides, which is such a waste. Using a cotton swab doesn't always work either - sometimes nothing comes out as the hole is too small. In summary: The scent (personally love it, but it's strong - avoid if you're sensitive to smells), terrible packaging. Grab this during Black Friday sales - it's the cheapest then. If it's out of stock, play the waiting game on the official website, pretending to browse. You'll eventually see an Instagram story ad for Pyunkang Yul SOS Ampoule - buy that. It's around 7,000-9,000 won each, with the same ingredients but different concentrations. It feels almost identical, and those who find the Natrugem packaging inconvenient might prefer it. Here's a pro tip: Add a drop or two to your regular toner, apply to your face, then layer with more toner. Follow with your usual skincare routine - it's much less irritating this way. Occasionally, for special care, mix 2-3 drops with aloe gel or a soothing moisturizer and apply generously. The cooler the cream, the better. It's incredibly calming. You know the aloe gel pack method, right? Apply generously to your face, then place cool, damp cotton pads over it. That's all you need to do, but don't leave it on for too long. - ys********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 12, 2024
This stuff is absolutely incredible! As someone who's always in a rush to see results, especially when it comes to acne scars and redness, I was blown away. After just one day of use, I saw a noticeable difference. Those pesky brown marks around my blemishes started fading and becoming less visible. What's more, I love that all the ingredients are natural, so I can use it with confidence. I'm already on my third bottle! I'll be honest, it can sting a bit when applied to open wounds or sensitive areas. It might cause temporary irritation. But you know what? That slight discomfort doesn't matter to me because come morning, my skin troubles have practically vanished! Word of caution! The effectiveness of this product really depends on how well your skin responds to Centella Asiatica extract! - hs*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRednessRecommendedNov 9, 2024
I was surprised by this product. Right after applying, it stings and feels warm, but when I wake up the next morning, my blemishes are noticeably calmer. I used it as an emergency treatment when my skin issues seemed to be getting worse. It's great. The formula absorbs quickly and has a water-like texture, making it effortless to apply without feeling heavy on the skin. At first, you might dislike it due to the scent, but you'll get used to it with continued use. It's a bit disappointing that the amount is small, and it's on the pricier side, which is sad. However, the effectiveness is so good that it becomes my top choice when acne flares up. I recommend using this together with Not's Centella Scar Ointment and Ylang Ylang. - al********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 15, 2024
The scent is lovely and it seems to have antibacterial properties. It's great at calming redness and blemishes. The color is a darker brown than expected, so when applied, it can make your skin look patchy. I only use it before bed because of this. I apply it by dabbing it on with a cotton swab! - rm****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedOct 6, 2024
